Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

How do I add a line? I already have one under the promo but am trying to transfer my wife over FROM Verizon but don't want to create another account
Need to call +1-866-782-8777

It would be faster if you Sprint SIM in hand compatible for wife phone, you will be done in 10~15 minutes.

Have your Sprint Account Number + PIN, your wife Verizon Phone Number, PIN/Account Number, IMEI handy as they will ask on phone, also ICCID of Sprint SIM, if you have it.

Hi pro,

I want to add two more lines for my sisters, she is under Verizon postpaid family plan ( three lines) , If we port two of them to Sprint , how to tell Sprint their Account # and pin? Called Verizon , was told that there is only one account # and one pin for this family plan. But I believe there should have 3 different account number for individual phone number, otherwise, how to distinguish the difference? Thanks.

Should be fine as is. You distinguish them by the phone number. That is what is being ported out. Other account details do not matter. They do this a zillion times a day and know what they are doing and if there is any problem they will let you know.

Iphone 6s can use sim part# ending in 416c, 436c,446c, and 506c. Apple store gives out the 436c for free. Just dont get an iphone 8,X sim because not compatible with iphone 5s--7.

Great summary! Second choice after free at the Apple store, say if he wants it mailed to him, would be $2.99 from Twigby.

When supplying your own sim, you call in to the 8777 number, rather than signing up on the web.

So my wife's unlocked iPhone 5S and kid's Virgin Mobile phone are on Ting CDMA. I am thinking of moving the 5S to T-Mobile (got a SIM only from eBay) then to an unlocked iPhone 7 on the Sprint plan. Then I get a new SIM for the 5S and move my kid to the 5S, then to T-Mobile, then back again to the 5S on Sprint. I'm guessing the VM phone will not longer be useful as a cell phone at this point. Is this the best way to do it?

A minor footnote is that you never need a new Sprint sim on a Sprint phone - including moving from Ting or Boost to Sprint postpaid. You can reuse the original sim.

You could use Ting GSM side instead of TMobile directly if more convenient, but either is fine. I am not sure I follow your TMobile steps completely, but I assume you know that you only need to port in a number from another carrier, not necessarilya paired number and phone from the other carrier, I think you realize that. You usually do still have to provide some phone (or IMEI at least) to the GSM provider to be get them to host the number.

For phones that were on an mvno at any time, you may get an activation error saying that you owe Sprint money. This does not mean what it says, but rather that the ownership flag must be reset, as described by LiterallyUnlimited. If you do, Ting can fix that. You may not even get it on an iPhone if you run the Ting IMEI checker, which often fixes it.

I bought two 7 day passes over my winter vacation to New Zealand and Australia. Got a text from Sprint about upgrading my speed. Worked like a charm. Showed up on my bill as two $25 charges with no change to my plan. My speed was about what I would expect in the US, while the rest of my party with T-mobile, with no speed upgrade, had extremely handicapped service.

Yes did the 7 days $25 LTE plan in France/Spain last August work out well. The 2G roaming is really slow.

What information is needed to buy the speed upgrade? Just click the link from the text and it auto bill you? Do I need to login to sprint account or something?
