Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

My son broke his phone and I bought him a moto g 5 plus, we have been into this plan for about two months. Can I swap the phone? Can I still use the old sim? Can this be done online or by chat and what should I say to the rep? Thanks for any insight?

Sprint SIM cards are reusable but you need to make sure the SIM part number is compatible with the new phone -- find the old SIM part number and see if the new phone uses the same part number (if not then you'll need a new one)

SIM info in wiki on 1st page

Just chat with CS and tell them you want to do a device swap -- you just need to give new phone MEID/IMEI and SIM ICCID

You have to port in to open the account.

But we have a better estimate now of 4/30 as the next key date since Telesales is saying that now.

The quote that mentioned 4/5 was likely from an old memo.

Of course, there is a chance that 4/5 could still apply although I doubt it now.

When the offer closes, that will be it.

I have a question.
When I tried to do this online I got:
Your order requires additional processing
We're sorry. We can't complete your order online, but give us a ring and we'll get you taken care of.
Call us: 1-844-229-9564

Should I call that number, or is it better to call the direct line at: 866-782-8777

I was planning to just have them ship the sim cards after completing the online order.
But since that didn't work, I am on my way to best buy to pick up a Boost Mobile - Tri-Branded SIM Card Activation Kit before calling them back.

Better to call 866-782-8777. I used Freedompop and that took about a week to port and now my wife free account is $70 per month. I had to call to change, they told me I should had called 866-782-8777. Currently got a $70 refund for my the first month but account still showing $70 per month...hopefully it will change in the next cycle.

DO NOT call the number listed (844) as when I got that same message, Telesales had no idea what I was talking about. Definitely call the 866 number as that is specific for the promotion.

Don't bother with an iPhone X on Sprint, it doesn't support HPUE or MIMO (i.e crappy signal).
Can someone elaborate what this means and if it's 100% true. I'm on the free sprint plan now and looking to upgrade to iPhone x.

EDIT: ok from my brief research, seems like MIMO is wifi related so has nothing to do with sprint, so that's irrevelant. And seems like no iphones support HPUE on sprint? So not sure why the poster would call out the X specifically? Wouldn't that be a problem with every iPhone on sprint?

MIMO (4x4) isn't just for Wifi, it ensures you have a strong connection when you're very far from a tower. Sprint has many 8T8R B41 sites and you can't take advantage of multiple uplinks/downlinks. HPUE is missing on all iPhones. It's amazing how many people don't realize how much Apple cripples thier phones and still charge hundreds of dollars. The absolute best device on Sprint (or any carrier) is the Galaxy S9.

I have an HTC One A9 with a clean sprint ESN that shows ineligible with a port in from H20. Is there any way to get it to work without having to get a different phone?

"Clean Sprint ESN" needs to be qualified by whose test you are quoting. Swappa uses that teminology and is notoriously inaccurate. Sprint does not use the term ESN.

But test it at https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/br...print.html

If it says "money may be owed to Sprint" then do not take that literally. It is actually very positive if you get that because it means you just need to get LiterallyUnlimited to push the MEID back to postpaid if it has ever been on an mvno.

Also test on the Ting checker https://ting.com/byod .

So, I am a VZ customer taking my phone to Sprint. I started the process online and for some reason I was prompted to call them. And the nightmare began....

Was on hold for several periods, talking to someone offshore I could not understand. They had issues running my credit and was transferred more than once.

Finally, I am sent an e-agreement to sign and in there it shows I am being sent a LG Dynasty and being charged 7 bux a month for it. I am terribly annoyed at this point and the guy says don't worry, we will be crediting you for this and I wouldn't be paying anything for my phone. Says I will take the SIM card out of the LG and put it in my iPhone.

Right now I am waiting on this phone and SIM to show..

Also, said I need to go back to the local Sprint store and port-in and get on the plan. The local store here in town is terrible. I left Sprint for a reason years ago...I am hoping that this work is worth the $1000 I will save over the next year.
