Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Has anyone had any experience swapping phone numbers between two phones already activated on the plan? I ported over my Verizon account with 4 phones plus my home phone since I could do 5. I'd really like to use the phone I have as my home number to have my mobile number instead. Is it best to use the chat that pops up when I'm looking at my bill? Or I was reading on the Sprint community site that their agents could help do that but I'm really afraid of messing up my account since I haven't had it the 120 days yet. I asked the telesales agent if she could do it I swapped numbers no problem through Support Chat.when I added the 5th line but she said since the terms said no changes for 120
days she wouldn't do it.
I swapped numbers between two of my lines no problem through Support chat. Sprint just regards this as routine maintenance and it is just carried out by technical staff with no plan implications.

Do not ask them any questions about your plan, though, when requesting it or they will have to refer you to someone else instead of doing the swap.

Telesales is for sales and knows nothing about MEID swaps or number swaps but reps vaguely hope they might find a way to sell you something in response to any question you ask them (so it is best not to ask them)..

When I first signed up for this offer at the end of Feb., the Sprint CS agent told me that good credit/credit score was not so much of a big issue and that being transferred to a manual credit department was more for identification purposes to prevent fraud. Having followed this thread for awhile, it seems like anyone who was rejected for this offer was because they could not answer the identity questions correctly and I don't recall seeing anyone having mentioned being rejected whether online or on the phone for bad credit. So this might be the best chance for those who don't have great credit to get on a postpaid plan and save tons of money while helping to build up their credit score at the same time.

Would this work?

1) Port out to MetroPCS and get 4 new phones for $100(free phone for each new line)
2) Port back into Sprint using another SSN, simultaneously canceling Metro by porting out
3) Tell rep I have old Sprint SIMs that I'd used in the past(the ones I'm using now) to avoid paying $10.
4) Use the phones I've been using on Sprint this whole time and sell the MetroPCS phones
Yes MetroPCS works fine. I have ported into BYOD twice using that service. My metro lines had been active for a minimum of two weeks, but I'm not sure if that matters being prepaid

Great advice JohninNYC. I have two friends with terrible upside-down credit. Both were approved for 5 lines.

I'm confused why the description says we have to order online (or phone) but then we can also just buy a sim from bestbuy and call sprint to set things up... eh?
You can either
(1) Order the sim and plan together by calling 866-782-8777 or ordering on the web
(not recommended by most here because it actually gets broken into an error-prone two stage process with Sprint)

OR

(2) Obtain the sim anywhere and then set up by calling 866-782-8777 , giving them your MEID, sim ICCID number, and phone number to port in
(recommended path by most here)

You should not try to activate through other Sprint numbers or through Sprint dealers.

As far as I can tell, the port over was a success. This speedtest of 0.11mbps and 0.0 upload has me a bit concerned <_<;

What phone? There are things to try but they differ by phone.

Does your phone show that you are getting LTE?

Does the Sprint coverage map show good coverage for your location?

Are you sure sim ICCID is correct?

Got my first bill and it was 8.90, little higher than I'd like. Thing is I'm not getting the $5 credit for autopay, even though it's turned on, clearly as it auto debited my account the 8.90. Any ideas? For now I'm just gonna wait and see if the autopay discount kicks in next bill...

This has worked pretty fine, I will say the thing I miss is the ideal (even if not necessarily taken advantage of) of being able to buy any unlocked phone and throw my sim in it, that you get with GSM networks. That's okay though, need to be content with my perfectly good S8 for a year and stop wasting money Smilie

Another little bugaboo is, the fine print says they can cancel your plan if you use 100mb of roaming data in a month, be sure to turn roaming completely off, 100mb is nothing to use accidentally. However I've noticed a few times, I think after updates, my phone will turn roaming back on by itself (it definitely did after my phone got oreo update for example). Little annoying, keep an eye on it. But phone manufacturers should know, if I turn roaming off, LEAVE IT OFF.

Yes it should be $8.90 in your case less $5 which is $3.90 which is a typical value. I would do billing chat. They can fix it right off. There is no reason it should be delayed. Mine took effect on Day 1.

I've got a s9. According to their map I've got 4G LTE excellent signal. According to this thread I'm using the correct sim (506TQ) from the boostmobile sim pack from bestbuy. Beyond that I dunno heh heh <_<;
