By the way did they do three separate credit checks and give you three separate account numbers? If not, some of your existing SSN's may be free for use as a new account.
They only did credit check for primary line which is Line 1. The other 2 lines were later on added to the same account. What I am trying to do is, my current one year free promotion with 3 lines expires in Oct 2018. Just trying to extend it.

So I am thinking I should do this. Port out Line 3 temporary to some carrier and then port in L3 and open new Sprint account with different social. Port out L1 and L2 temporarily to some other carrier and then port those lines back into new Sprint. Will this work? Looks like Port out and Port in can be done in one day. I am going to use same phones and same SIMS, so I don't have to wait to get SIMS in mail. Last time I had to to get SIMS from Sprint as locally they were not available. When they do a credit check, is that a hard inquiry?

Angel5000, did you / could you confirm this shows as 3 different dates on your online dashboard? or by calling and asking?
Thanks.

Lol they extended offer again until 5/31
Well in that case there may still be 45 days left *IF* that hints at an intention to extend the available signup date as well as just the last end-of-savings date. But it might not - there is always risk. Some may want to take the gamble if they signed up early on as there is less and less to lose.

That should work.
People seem to say it is a hard enquiry I think (anyone correct me if I am wrong - I did not look myself).

Did anyone else's bill go up by $1? Not that it's a big deal but just curious why that happened

from bill:

Administrative Charge Increase
Effective with this bill, the Admin. Charge
has increased to $2.50/month/line for
customers subject to the charge. You may
cancel the Sprint service(s) directly or
indirectly affected by this change without
incurring an early termination fee. To
cancel, dial *2 within 30 days.

yup!
all separate dates. Spoke to a rep the other day to change phone for one of the numbers and was told that all three lines had different dates of exp. so each line had exactly 12 months of free service. I added the lines at separate times, not all 3 at the same time. Probably why.

Yes I also am afraid that the rep. may be wrong. It is very unlikely that you would have exactly 12 months on all of them because the end dates in the offer are constantly changing amd anyway it is supposed to go by the first one.

If you go to the online dashboard you can to Manage Plan / See Details and look for the "until" date.

Many/most of the sales reps do not really understand all the ins and outs of this promotion. Their knowledge is basically confined to selling it.

Thanks!

Nope. Many of us have canceled it already with no effect on credit score (in order, in our case, to start a new account separately).
