I tried both...LTE as well as wifi seperately and had problem on both.
Interesting.
On what phone and was it the Sprint branded model if you do not mind saying?

I currently have both Wi-Fi and LTE calling enabled on calling Plus.
I may toggle off LTE calling again though as this is where my problems arise.
Yes in most cases Wifi calling should be a safer bet at least without a Magic Box (although DealLife had problems even with a Magic Box).

Hopefully it will improve when full VoLTE is released.

Hi, I tried searching this threat but I could not find the answer.
Currently, I am on the Free One Year plan and it will expire in 07/2018. Before that day, can i port out from Spring and port in back to get another free 1 year ( Same SSN)?
Thank you.
Only after 45 days away from Sprint which might be beyond the end of the promo if you port out now.

I have seen it said that LTE Calling Beta is based on the original Wifi Calling infrastructure, rather than on the new full VoLTE one that is coming, so hopefully the new one will be much improved.

Sprint LG G6 - I want to use data while calling and this Calling Plus seems to be a solution. Let me try once again...will update latter.

I think it is partially working. You can use wifi calling to make a call, while on the call turn off wifi and bump: LTE and calling at the same time.

Yes, you would need to have ZERO sprint service and NO sprint account for 45+ days then assuming the deal was still going on you could port back in and get it new then.

So i port out and make sure they close my account, right? I heard many people saying their account is still active without any line? Will they run credit check again?
Thanks

Dont make things complicated. Just port out all lines to Metropcs. Get some free phones from metropcs. Open new account with Sprint under someone else ssn. Port all your lines back to Sprint. Done.

It is supposed to close automatically when the last line is ported out and usually does but it is prudent to check afterward since it just a phone call to do so and occasionally accounts did not close for one reason or another.

You do realize that you will be unable to open another account if the offer ends May 31 as many of us expect it may? I tkink you might end up a day or two short of the 45 days. So you would be betting it gets extended into June which is not sure OR that they would be generous if you were close (which they might be but is uncertain). Odds might be only 50-50 at best. If that is good enough for you and you cannot get another person with another SSN involved, then sure, you can go for it.

Yes there is a new credit check as you are have to be considered a new customer to be eligible.

Yes, that part works fine. Everything works fine in fact except some people had calls dropped or not ring occasionally. I have not had either of those problems on my S8+ but it may depend on where you live, signal strength etc. as LTE Calling is Beta for now.

Is there anyway to get the LTE Calling feature on an unlocked S9+ that was purchased directly from Samsung and activated on the Sprint network?
