Is there anyway to get the LTE Calling feature on an unlocked S9+ that was purchased directly from Samsung and activated on the Sprint network?
Yes a partial workaround was posted on S4GRU and also here.

What's the fastest free way to port OUT of Sprint? I'm trying to kill my old SERO line now that I don't need it at all, but I'm not interested in completing a lengthy exit interview with some CSR in the Philippines. Is TextNow the way to go? Anyone use this service called Tossable Digits [tossabledigits.com]? Says they can do it in one business day. To be clear, I don't care about the number anymore.
I am glad you brought this up. I too was not happy about needing to call (I wish chat could cancel). I am going to port out and forget it.

Thought I'd follow up since someone called my name. It seems TextNow is still the only truly free port in option. But they say they can take up to five days. If time is money, say you're paying a nominal buck a day, then that's five bucks lost. I'd have to buy a sim to port out to any GSM carrier, and that's around ten bucks right there. I looked into Tossable Digits, but they wanted tree fiddy. Sideline used to be free, but now it's ten bucks. I ended up going with Tello. I do believe same network ports are slightly faster than switching networks. Plus you already have the sim. I ported in after hours, and they completed the port (presumably manually) within an hour of opening for business the next day. There's a discount code floating around out there that knocks 50% off the sign-up for new customers (you'll need a CC they haven't seen before) so my cost still ended up being... tree fiddy. Someone should start a phone "service" whose business it is simply to help people terminate their current service. I'd call it DevNull. And porting there should be free.

Can additional lines be added over Chat? Or do I have to call in?

One subtle wording difference I noticed with the account dashboard I opened last year v/s the one I opened this year:

Last year: "Unlimited - Bring Your Phone"

This year: "Unltd - Bring Your Phone"

They cannot be added by chat - you have to call 866-782-8777 (only) and port in a number from a competitor.

Yes it cancels the Sprint account assuming you only have 1 line.

Yes it does. I ported out 2 lines. When I ported out my last line I was still able to log in to my account. I chatted with rep and he said my account is already marked close. He said once my final bill generates I will no longer be able to log in my old sprint account

Thank you. I am not the primary subscriber, and was wondering if they ask for SSN etc when calling in, or if they only ask for the account pin?

Does anyone know how long you have to port in lines after opening your new Sprint BYOD 1-Year Free Unlimited plan?

I have one last line that I need to port out from Sprint (on a different account and SSN) over to T-Mobile, then port it back to this BYOD plan.
I opened this new Sprint account (under a different SSN) a couple of weeks ago, so I need to know if there's a time limit on porting in phone numbers to this new BYOD plan from the account opening date.
Thanks!

You're asking if there is a minimum time that your number must be ported out from Sprint correct?
You can put it back immediately under the new SSN.
There may be a delay from the company from which you are porting back into Sprint. I believe that's the only limitation. They vary
