Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I got a whole process of port-in port-out with T-mobile sim.
But I still confused which phone to buy that it would be eligible for port in.

Someone mentioned https://www.dailysteals.com/produ...9829334092 Google Pixle. Anyone had success with this phone?

yes, too much trouble, just gonna go with red pocket's 5gb data plan on AT&T network, only $10 more than sprint's "free" plan.
No question that is an outstanding RedPocket deal and I have a friend who also chose it over the free Sprint deal just for the better AT&T coverage in his case. As I am sure you know, EBay has 15% off about once every other week. I am tempted myself. I do happen to get great Sprint downloads speeds at home via Magic Box.

Can I port in to ATT after funding $1 or do I need to fund $1 first and then port in to ATT.....
Heh... you realize A & B are the same? You asked if you "port in AFTER funding $1" or "fund $1 then port in"... which are exactly the same scenarios.

The Fi chat support agents can disassociate a device which has been on Fi in the past (get the device ownership flag flipped from PLBL to SPCS to allow it to work on Sprint) while you wait on chat for a few minutes. They contact a "specialist" to do it. I've done it that way about 3-4 times and they only screwed up once. The time they screwed up, they accidentally flagged my device as "lost or stolen" instead which made me rather upset as it basically makes the device forever useless on any carrier, and it can only be reversed by the carrier who originally flagged it. That one had to go to an even higher level of support and they told me they would get back to me in 24-48 hours. I said that wasn't good enough and I don't want my phone to be unusable for up to 2 days due to their mistake, so in the end they were able to get it straightened out within a couple more hours. The other times when they did it right it took effect instantly and I could immediately pass the Sprint 1 year free BYOD eligibility check which had previously been saying "you owe Sprint for this device" due to having been used on Fi, which is a Sprint MVNO.
Thanks for the tip. Yes I read somewhere similar but wanted to be doubly sure, as usmobile to sprint port was a headache in that they had to put sprint customer service + sprint porting dept person who had to conference call usmobile person all with me to get this done.

Now I have a Moto G4 Play on mintsim.com that si supposed to be valid but comes up as invalid on sprint eligibility site. Any tips on how to proceed? I already did port my main line from mintsim without any problem, so unsure why approved phone on sprint device list would come up ineligible to port in! Wanted to add that as my 4th line on the acct

If it was ever on a Sprint MVNO you will have to get ownership flag flipped back.

What exactly does https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/br...hop:030918
say?

This is a slightly different tester than the one used for the free plan and gives a nore detailed indication of any problems.

The answer to that will help diagnose the problem.

Because a Sprint customer and his SS # is STILL considered a Sprint customer with an existing account for at least 45 days after he closes his Sprint account.
To get on this free BYOD offer you MUST be a NEW customer so people here use other SS #s.
Since this free BYOD offer will expire in 9 days there is NO TIME to wait and be considered a new customer again.
Just wanted to clarify, does that mean I can use a SSN that had a sprint account closed 2 months ago?

I moved one line at a time to t-mobile and then back for 5 lines, over several days. You're not closing a line, you're just porting it out, which takes care of closing that line with Sprint.

Yes if you verified or can verify that it was fully closed on that date and not left with some dangling leftover charge or inactive device etc. that prevented it from closing automatically.

They can check for you. Best ask up front in this case and give them your previous account number and PIN so that they do not fear you might be an imposter.

Quite a few of us have succeeded just 46 or 47 days after.

I think your question was answered here in these posts:

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=115233103&postcount=18009

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=115234039&postcount=18010

When you call the AT&T phone # in the sim packet that you get, 866-975-0050, to port from your Sprint account the AT&T rep will tell you that there must be funds in the prepaid account.
As GLENTON above said: "Tell them you just want to add a dollar until you get porting taken car of." The rep will add a dollar + tax for you and charge your credit card.
The rep will text you your new PIN only IF you request it then, but will NOT give you the AT&T prepaid account # telling you that the account must be fully funded before you can get it. That's NOT correct.
The AT&T rep will setup the prepaid account and then will give you the phone # for the AT&T porting dept., 888-898-7685 to call and complete the port. Now, you finish this call and you're done with this part.
THEN Call that #, port your Sprint # over to AT&T, and ask the porting agent to give you your AT&T prepaid account #. He/She should give it to you. It's a 12 digit #.
Now you'll have the AT&T prepaid account # and its PIN #, and you're all ready to port the phone # back to Sprint!!!

IF the porting agent does not give you the prepaid account # after you port to AT&T, call 611 and have them give you the account number and verify your pin, as GLENTON above said.

Total AT&T cost is about $3.00 depending on your tax area.

I have bought 4 Pixel XLs from them. Completely satisfied with the price and the phone. All 4 were A grade. Takes around 5 working days to receive your phone after your order gets processed. Of course YMMV.
