Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thanks - I was just doing some digging in this thread and found the same... although I did just see that some guy got the $50 referral credits - I'll be adding 3 more free lines so anyone with a regular paid account (and not maxed out on referrals yet) hit me up with a link...
I got a referral credit too but that was in the early days when it worked fine before Sprit wizened up and cut it off. It was cut off after a short initial time period along with most other promotions. You will not find any successes with referral credits in the past 7 or 8 months because they have all been denied, not for any lack of people trying.

Call them and tell them you will get a prepaid card when the port finalizes. It'll cost you $0.

porting in two number to Tmo took maybe almost half an hour. The numbers ported almost instantaneously. I wanted to wait couple hours to make sure the changes are effective o Sprint but you don't need to wait that long. Just check the number and phone availability at the BYOD site and the call Sprint and get new account created with Sprint. That took almost an hour for two lines and credit check and validation. .I used existing Sprint SIM cards. So overall process took one and half hour for me
What is your tmobile account number? Is it 1 + phone number?

comintel helped me a lot yesterday and I just successfully ported an unlocked GV number. If you want to use GV as Sprint main number you need to go into Google Voice Legacy and choose to unlock in settings. Legacy may not appear as option on phone in Chrome so you have to either change Chrome setting at top right to "desktop site" or just do it on a PC.
Once it's been unlocked call cs to do the port by phone. You don't have to unlock if you want t to keep GV and port carrier number but you should still do setup over the phone, assuming you already have the right SIM.
Just a quick tip.
To unlock your GV number, you can simply go to http://www.google.com/voice/unlock and sign into your Google Voice account.

Hi. I also want to switch from H2O to Sprint. Would you mind give me a quick summary of what you did? TiA
very straight forward process....buy the sprint sim compatible with your phone, go to H2O Live chat and ask for your account # and pin, they will ask for some security questions such as # to which you sent texts/recent call #

Once you provide those details you get the H2O Account # and pin, call the Sprint promo hotline once you receive the Sprint # handy.....porting takes just a few mins.....

Happy with my switch so far Smilie Feel free to ask any other questions you may have....

The TelesSales reps get confused easily.

You cannot do "UPGRADES" to discounted Sprint phone offers for 120 days.

But you can do IMEI swaps to another phone you own already immediately through tech. support chat only (NOT through TeleSales). We all do them right away no delay. Actually start it off on the device you want to swap out on your dashbpard and click Activate and specify the device you want to swap in. Remember you need the right sim in the device you want to swap in and it is usually different from the sim in the device you are swapping out. Simple sim swapping ala GSM is not supported. Usually they will connect you to tech. support to complete it and I would say do not ask questions about whether you can do it on the free plan - tech support does not deal with plan issues. Just do it.

I have a iPhone 5s that was bought from virgin mobile but only used it in Ring+. It has no service provider right now thus no phone number. I put in its IMEI with a landline number in the Sprint checker and it says eligible. Does that mean I should have no problem using this phone to sign up for this deal? I wasn't sure what phone number to put in the checker as I don't have a number for this device currently (thus used a landline number). Is that ok?

Yes it should be fine.

The number you port in does not need to have any association to the phone.

If you need a number to port in (you have to supply one) you can get one on Ebay by searching on "TMobile number for port" for about $5. Portmaster.. is a good seller.
