Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I posted a request at
https://slickdeals.net/f/11590527-free-1-year-byod-sprint-thread-incorrectly-marked-expired
to mark this deal active again until it is actually ended.

I am not sure but that looked like the right place to make such a request.

Edit: Wow - they moved it back to Active immediately!
It's because you have so much clout in this thread! worship

Whose moving where at the end of the 1 year free ?
It is going to be very hard to pay for something we get use to have for free now !!
- mintsim $25/month (only 10 gb lte)
Any better alternative?
port out and port back in with a different social and get another year free, ride this storm out!!

Running into trouble with porting my phone over. I bought my Moto G4 2 years ago, was on Tello, and then ported out to Consumer Cellular. When I use the IMEI checker, it says I owe Sprint money (I don't, never had a Sprint Account).

I called 866-782-8777 to see if they could resolve the problem, and was told because my phone was used on a pre-paid plan, it is not eligible, and the only way to possible make it eligible is if I take it to a Moto service center, to see if they can do something about the serial number.

I know this is wrong, but don't know what my next step should be. Does anybody know how to resolve this? Can it be done quickly? We're fast approaching 5/17! I have two other phones that pass the check, but I prefer to keep all 3 phones together (and if I have to keep this phone where it is, it won't really be that much cheaper to move the other 2.

Yes the details of this are well-known on this forum, as is the fix. (The sales agent was confused as they usually are).

Search posts by LiterallyUnlimited in this thread, contact him on Reddit, and he will fix it for you by pushing it back to PostPaid from his authority within Ting (do not contact him at Ting though).

OR you can post on Sprint Community Forum and they will do it but that may take a few days that way.

OR you can go to a SPRINT OWNED store and ask them to open a Clickit Ticket to to flip the database flag to SPCS from PLBL. This also may take a few days and some stores might hesitate.

So do I, not sure what the source of ending "5/17" is but if its credible then this deal will probably end as they are not even waiting until 5/31 this time. Looks like the merger TMO is going to stick this time as well, or at least they've come to the terms of it (stock value etc.)

I signed up for this deal this weekend and added three lines. However, I am having trouble adding my son's Samsung S9. I have two potential obstacles. Do I have the correct sim and is the phone eligible for this promotion.

To get the sim, I went to two sprint stores: a corporate one did not have any and a non-corporate one would not give me one (I offered to pay for it). I researched from this thread that the boost three pack may work. I then tried to register with a boost three pack sim that I purchased from Best Buy.

Second issue, is the phone eligible. I called telesales, but we never got to the sim number. The could not validate either meid number. The said that they were going to add it to the database and call me back in a few hours. They never called back.

Any ideas of what's going on?

Thanks!

What model Samsung and bought from which carrier?

If the phone is GSM only it cannot work on Sprint but we need to know the model. S8's, for example, can switch brands and so are eligible.

Which carrier was it bought for/from?

Samsung has not yet released brand switching for the S9 so only the Sprint-branded or Unbranded Unlocked S9 will work for now.

The Sim needed is SIMOLW406TQ or SIMOLW506TQ which is in the Boost sim pack but this will not help qualify an S9 that is not compatible.

However once Samsung releases brand switching for the S9 down the road, then it can go on.

Quick question, does anyone know which bestbuy sim SKU to buy for a Sprint LG G5 ? Thanks.

(Finally ordered an Lg G5 after considering the myriad cheap motorola versions. There are so many versions of the moto G and e4 that my head is spinning, and that the e4 can't use ipv4? )
