Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Buying a new sim will not help in any way.

No you cannot swap it on either if it is flagged as MVNO. Or if it a Sprint Prepaid model.

But it is TRIVIAL to fix at least the MVNO flag. Just chat TIng tech support. They ROUTINELY do this for anyone who ever was on their service. Then check the IMEI on the Sprint eligibility checker. Realistically it may not qualify if it is Prepaid though.

So this prepaid phone is pretty much useless?? will never be able to be activated on the Sprint network---If I find one to activate on this would I be able to swap and put this prepaid one on there later??

Did anyone receive a letter from Sprint about an account spending limit with an additional $7.99 monthly fee ?
They mentioned the monthly fee for accounts with a spending limit when I set up my account. Sprint will waive the fee every month as long as you're on eBill & Auto Payment.

My bill looks like this:

Spending Limit Program Charge $7.72
Spending Limit eBill/AutoPay Cr -$7.72

Unlimited - Bring Your Phone - Unlimited Talk, Text & Data $5.00
$5 AutoPay Plan Discount - Unlimited - Bring Your Phone -$5.00

Administrative Charge $2.50
Regulatory Charge $0.40

New Jersey State 911 Tax $0.90
New Jersey State Sales Tax $0.20

Total Amount Due $4.00

It should still activate on Sprint mvno's.
Tello has attractive pricing for light use.

To check its status further, see what it says at
https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...phone.html
when you enter the IMEI.

It does not have the right bands for Sprint so it would not work. They have never allowed any of those on on any plan. The IMEI's are not even in the database.
So the Samsung 7 Edge regular phones didn't work initially, but through some effort, I got them to fix it and added 2 to my account the first go around for this free plan last year. If I want to try to port out and back in now, should the 7 Edge phones work without additional intervention since they've already been on Sprint (are actually currently on Sprint) since the IMEIs are now in their database?

Yes they should work in my opinion. It will not lose its database status.

However TeleSales is getting stickier and stickier about adding older Sprint phones not on the list. Something must be up with that. Some people have been able to talk them out of their reluctance, others not. Try telling them you will upgrade it after you qualify in 120 days.

The S7 Edge is fairly recent so there may be no problem.

You should be able to IMEI swap it on too if need be, UNLESS they start adding additional validation to the swap process as well (which I doubt however as it would be a lot of work).

Just curious, did you flash it originlly? Or was it the unbranded version?
I don't know what it means to flash it. But they were Sprint versions originally.

It wasn't easy the first time either, the phone is on the list, just not the Special Edition one, so I eventually got someone who was willing to fix it for me.

Oh since it is a Sprint version that explains why it can work.
Please see my other comments though - I post-edited them.

Picked up an e4 from BB, got the boost sim pack from BB, put in the call to sprint, gave all the info from the FP account, gave them the info from the 416q sim. Now we're waiting on FP to "release" the number... until then I'm looking at "invalid SIM card"

Anyone with experience porting from FP know how long it took for them to get things working?

Thanks and repped. Do you guys think this will be extended again as it was repeatedly last year?

I know how hard it was to get all of this set up last time, and I'm not sure I have it in me to do all of that again in the next 2 days (since I just realized today that this offer is available again).

I'll probably just try port out just one line for now to get on the new offer, and hope they let me add lines to the new account later. I see the debate on whether or not their wording suggest that you can add new lines to an account after the existing deadline, but I'm not sure what the consensus is on that.

Personally I doubt it will be extended much since it a mid-month date being quoted now for the first time, but they could always extend it briefly at the last minute.

Have you seen anyone who recently signed up get the email showing 5/17/18 expiration. I've only seen one user report of this.
