Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Thank you. Is this a Sprint thing or all providers..if you know. I noticed in the wiki, to get TMobile, it states you need a new unused SIM.
verizon allows you to reuse sims as well, and it has less issues with compatibility...and swtiching phones is easy peasy...one good thing coming out of the red evil one

Sprint will need all the customer it can get ...before the merger.
And if the merger is not approved , Sprint will most likely file for bankruptcy .

Another checker:

https://ting.com/byod

AFTER you flip the flag and the phone becomes eligible, you should CALL the BYOD dedicated toll free # to get this offer. Do NOT try to do it online.
Thank you. Tried ting and it says "Sorry, this phone has been flagged
as lost or stolen." The phone is definitely not stolen or lost. I bought it from Amazon as unlocked phone and used on TPO.

ALL these erroneous messages will be corrected once you contact LiterallyUnlimited on Reddit and he manages to flip your device's flag, as stated in the other posts.

I hope someone will be willing to help me out. I am so frustrated. I tried to set up service with my 3 Verizon iphones two days ago. All three phones were eligible and I proceeded to the credit check. At that point I was instructed to call in. They said they had to run my credit manually. After I gave all of my info I was then told that I would have to come into a Sprint store with two forms of ID before the credit check could be run. I do not have a store close by, so I decided to just try again with my son's info to see if I could avoid the trip. When I reentered the 3 phones, suddenly one was ineligible. I waited until today to try again and now 2 of the phones are ineligible. How is this possible? I have tried online chat, phone support, and even the Sprint store several times and am getting no help....

1. Speak with a T-Mo HUMAN and the activation code is not required.
2. You'll get a prepaid T-Mo phone # from the T-Mo Human.
3. You don't have to insert the T-Mo in the phone, but it doesn't matter.
4. Make sure you get the T-Mo account #, that will be the prepaid phone # that you get and you MUST add an 1 in front of it. Also make sure you get the account PIN that you'll create, perhaps with the help of the T-Mo Human.
Without those you can NOT port out of T-Mo and into Sprint. This port should take less than 15 mins, most likely just a few mins.
You do NOT have to fund the prepaid T-Mo account to do the port.
Well... I ran into my first glitch on these Port ins to the One Year Free BYOD Plan.
My two VZ numbers and the Google number ported over just fine.
So last night I ported over my Sprint phone number (on a iPhone 7, on a different account) over to T-Mobile prepaid, inserted the T-Mobile sim verified it said T-Mobile, and I did this when talking to a Human, not automated system. Even got a txt message on the phone from T-Mobile on the port over. Dialing a number on the phone also went T-Mobile. I'm pretty sure the T-Mobile port was totally successful since they were able to sent that txt to the phone.. I waited 2 hours to verify it was ported.

I then called the 8777 number to port my number back to Sprint.
All info was confirmed and dude said the port was successful.
I used the same SIM number for the port back as was in it before the port to T-Mobile.
I reset the network info on the phone the did the ##25327# and ##873283# commands.
The iPhone still says "No Service", but the number does show on my BYOD account as if the port went thru.
Going to https://www.sprint.com/en/my-spri...rting.html it shows "Pending".

I figured it might take some time so left it alone and waited until this morning before doing anything else.

So this morning I wake up and check the phone and it still has "No Service".
After resetting the Network Info and the ## commands this morning, it still says "No Service".
Now when I go to https://www.sprint.com/en/my-spri...rting.html
it says:
Status : Cancelled
Info : Call (877) 503-3269 for assistance.
Your number transfer was cancelled on 2018-05-16.
If you would like to re-initiate this transfer, please call us at (877) 503-3269.

Also. Now, when I goto my BYOD account, under Manage Devices, the iPhone 7 is still there, but it has a different number associated with it.
Do you think I just lost my phone number?

Guess I am going to have to call and see what is up.
Any suggestions???
Thanks!

Probably best to call the Sprint port dept directly at: 866-437-1818.
They're pretty good there.

just used digital T-mo sim# to port out. Now checking phone number at the BYOD page and still shows that it is ineligible. How long does it take to complete porting ?

I think I am screwed.
When I try that, after I enter in the phone number, I get:
For customer care, you can dial *2 on your Sprint Phone or call ......
Then: Thank you for calling Spring. Goodbye.
And it hangs up on me.

How much time will I have between signing up and ordering the SIM cards and actually activating the SIM cards and porting my lines? I would like to sign up and order the SIM cards today, then wait to actually port the phone numbers until June 1st if the promo gets extended.

Most likely you've now mixed accounts and devices, so those devices may show as enrolled in your account and now they show ineligible in your son's and will show ineligible from now on.

Try to finish with your account first.
Call the Sprint credit dept directly at 800-639-6116, ask to speak to a supervisor for a manual review to avoid a store visit. If there is a Sprint Corporate store within 50 miles of your address they may refuse this request and still ask you to go to the store for the ID check. Go to the store with the application # that you should have been provided by the credit dept and the 2 pieces of ID and get an account #, and then call the toll free BYOD # to continue with your account activation.
Put your son's account on hold for now.
If things do not work with your account then you must clear this issue first before you proceed to get the devices to your son's account.

No, you're not.
There should be a human at this #. Try again.
Also, try the other #: (877) 503-3269
If both of these #s fail call Sprint CS at 800-SPRINT1 and ask to be transferred to the porting dept.
