Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

It says Tablets are ineligible for this promotion right above the Imei box. It passes because it will work on Sprint but can only be used with a paid tablet plan and not the free phone plan. You will have problems activating.
Darn I did see the no tablets but thought it might work since there's a number attached :/

It has come up dozens of times as edog11 mentions and every single time it fails when tried.

Same with the free tablet offer which everybody ends up concluding is a lousy offer.

what about using a smartphone imei to activate, and then swapping the tablet in?

Even if you could, which I doubt, they would remove it or make it a paid line when the back end tried to process the device on your plan. The back end that computes charges is more robust and catches invalid items on your account that the front end may seem to allow. It is not going to just ignore a tablet on your plan. For example, you can add Premium International Experience on the web site and even get a confirmation email but the back end will remove it when it tries to look up what the fee should be for this plan.

The Sprint web page explicitly says No Tablets ot Mobile BroadBand Devices in its list of restrictions and you can be sure they check every single one of those restrictions on the back end at the very least.

Try it if you want and I think you will be surprised at the strength of the reaction you get from the rep. when they think you are up to something (I have experienced it - they can explode with shock). They may note your account. They do that all the time and later read over the prior notes every time you try to do anything.

Did anyone sign up today and does their online account show savings through 7/31/19?
The web archive for the free year website can be found here: https://web.archive.org/web/20171...:1yearfree

Based on Sprint's past actions, if Sprint continues offering the free year plan I believe you would get an end date of 7/31/19 if you signed up on 6/1/18 or later.

i am sure this question is asked many times. Hope someone can put it on WIKI

what is the easiest fastest way to port out and port back in with diff. sprint account?

I did one today with H20 and it wasn't pleasant.
Luckily i had a sim card so all I need to do is to recharge $10 (min).
then make 3 calls.. then wait one hour.
call them for the account # and pin #. (had to give full numbers that i made)
make me feel bad.... they told me i can't port out within 6 days, but Sprint port in/out specialist made it today. (within a day)

I need to do 2 more. I'd like to do it tonight or by tomm.

can someone guide me please? wiki does not have enuf information.

I see Tmobile, I got the digital sim card part. But what do i need to open Tmbile pay as you go?
do I need to give them my SSN?
if i opened, is acct # / PIN # created instantly? any restriction to port out?

all of these... please help
You will need Sprint account number, phone number, and Sprint PIN code
You will also need TMO SIM #, phone's IMEI #, and the system asked me for the TMO SIM Activation code (in my case was an 11 digit # that came with the SIM starter kit)

Call 1-877-778-2107 and it will walk you through it, even asking if you are porting a number. When asked about plan, select the pay as you go plan.

Once all done, you'll then transfer back to Sprint by calling the number in the wiki (also displayed on Sprint promo page).
You'll need:
phone number
TMO account number (which is 1+phone number)
TMO PIN code
a different SSN, that person's DOB, address, etc.
phone's IMEI #
Sprint SIM card #

Worth noting: From the experience of myself and others, Sprint's people aren't familiar with TMO's account # setup for their pay as you go phones and will try to do the port using only the phone number as the account number, rather than adding a 1 in front of it (e.g. if phone number is 3035551234, account number would be 13035551234). So, if the report back that there's trouble with the port, double check that they entered a 1 at front of it.

If using an android phone, after the port back to Sprint, even though you're using the same SIM and same phone, you will need to go into (note: exact tree may vary depending on phone) settings/more/wireless & networks/cellular networks/carrier settings and select Update Device Config

edit to add: if owner of alternate SSN did a credit agency freeze (due to the credit agency hack last year), you will need to first temporarily thaw at each agency before contacting Sprint because they will do a hard pull on the credit and may also ask some follow up questions to verify that you are indeed the person the 2nd SSN is associated with (for me they asked county live in, most common area code, and age of child)

Doing this from my recollection of my experience; hopefully I didn't miss anything.

Just curious, what is your approximate monthly bill for the free unlimited?

"A standard $1.99 admin fee, $0.40 regulatory fee and other taxes and fees apply"
Fair to say $10/month? or is that on the high side?

Just look at the wiki which has a long detailed survey. Average around $4 or $5 total per line after $5 autopay rebate.

Last year my monthly bill was under $4 a month. This time around (based on what people have posted) it's a little higher, but Sprint's website is acting up so I can't see what the exact rate is that I'm going to be billed. I know there's now a $5/month fee but that it's supposed to be waived for having autopay.

Aggravating, on the phone with a green rep, trying to ask everything and so slow. Been on the line for one hour. This usually only takes 5 min. They are also clearly commissioned, trying hard to upsell.
You also waited till the "perceived" deadline when everybody is calling

They raised admin fee to $2.50 from $1.99. So bill will probably be 51-55 cents higher per line.
