Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Did you do a Profile Update in the settings menu -> system -> system update -> Update Profile.
You may also try Update PRL.

After the carrier reset that you previously tried above, the phone should reboot/restart.

Not sure if Boost Mobile has its own carrier reset code for its phones. Even if it does not sure it's a good idea to try it now that this phone is on Sprint Postpaid.
I know Virgin Mobile phones have their own code: ##VIRGIN#
carrier reset didn't work. When I put in the last #* the screen went blank and took me out of it. No place to hit dial and it didn't do it by itself. It was like I never put the info in it.

Another one to try is: ##72786#, it's for Android phones and it may work.
It's possible that this phone has its own carrier reset code just like Virgin phones, BUT I wouldn't try it now.

Instead, first check Settings -> Network & Internet -> Cellular Networks -> Preferred Network Type and set it to LTE/CDMA instead of Automatic and see if it works.

Also under APN, Access Point Names, check what is the current setting and try another.
Current setting would probably be x.ispsn but there are a few others like Sprint, Sprint cinet.spcs, Sprint sprint.

When I take the phone outside I get 4 bars so service shouldn't be an issue--inside it's lower but I didn't have internet outside until I turned the wifi back on. so no difference on data. I don't see any ICCID on Dashboard on website through computer--maybe it shows through phone at Sprint.com but wouldn't think so. Where is it hidden? no phone details at all other then it says Moto G6 play

You should call Sprint tech support and ask for their 3rd level support.
I had a similar issue with a Moto G4 and it ended up being an issue with the ICCID card not properly activated by Sprint. It could have been a wrong digit in its number, but he told me the issue was with the ICCID card. He fixed it and no problems after that.

The first level tech support was useless.
I have a Sprint tech support #, see if it helps, if not call regular tech support and ask to be escalated to L3. 1-844-463-3194

When I ported in I repeated over the phone each of the iccid, meid, carrier account number, address 4 times, she repeated them back to me just fine, but she got them all wrong. After the phone call when I went in my account the phone number transfer failed because of wrong account, I corrected it there. Then I wasn't getting any service, I called them from Skype and I repeated the iccid, meid and they were both wrong there. Oh and even though I said no to the phone protection plan, it was still added. I also spent about a hour on the phone to port in.

Thanks is that number above L3? I have done everything suggested and I took the sim card out and took a picture of it and put it back in. Is everyone else seeing the ICCID # on dashboard??

It would help if the guys spoke better English!! I asked him to repeat the number and he said well you gave me 20 so it should be good. Hmmm I'm thinking it's a card issue also but I'm 100% rookie at all this stuff so thanks a million to the people helping here.

Manage device/ select activate new device then current device should show up.
Edit the online automatic swap tool not working for me now either.
Although even if iccid is wrong you should be getting 3g

I tried that and nothing shows up--maybe because it was just set up last night.

I don't get 3g--everything is telling me I'm offlline---shocked me when I left the house today and was playing with it at the Drs. office---geez never thought to try the data at home and had the Wifi set up so it ran smoothly. Now it is showing LTE on top bar --at least that shows up there but still no data.

The number is successfully ported at about 8pm today. Right before I have time to call.
Quote from semifast :
in my experience..Freedompop authorized it and I called the expediting number, Sprint did it immediately. Otherwise you are waiting for Sprint's scheduling of the completion. The entire process took about 2 hours most of which is time I wasted before calling them.
