Talking about this one? it is listed as 3G ram, 32 GB storage, and dual sim. Specifically says no CDMA.

I wonder if the $199 price is for 32 Gig? US Moto site list both sizes and only 1 set of radio frequency information.

I too think 199 is a little high for this specific phone.
Not the same I agree.

XT1922-6, XT1922-7, XT1922-9 are the same but not XT1922-5

I am mainly looking at these prices as an upper limit. They will all fall rapidly.

Not a trader, just don't like current list prices for non-flagship phones.
I agree with you on that too.

I would not buy any of these.

Are you affiliated with Sprint? If so that's very important information because it implies as long as one can get a Boost/Sprint-subsidized phone activated onto Sprint, then phones can always be obtained at plan rate for 50 days + subsidized price. That's a huge arbitrage.

I don't think "always" will be true. I had 4 ZTE XL Max from Virgin, and only was able to get 2 activated on sprint. The G6 Play has had many successful reports now.

You know, one possibility is they have to consider T-Mobile as part of their network with the merger. That naturally adds 2, 4, 12, maybe 66, and 71 if the phones support those. At that point it may not make sense to have restrictions. Just a thought.

P.S. Does this Boost phone have the fingerprint reader? The Moto E4 Boost version did not. -- Looks like it does: https://www.boostmobile.com/phone...-play.html
yes its there

Thanks. So this is a public document from the FCC site?

Correct.
And the basis on which the FCC approved the phone for use in the U.S. so it has to be correct.

The price of $199 for the 3/32GB version is about where I would think it should be. That model (XT1922-5) is the dual sim model and is selling on Ebay for $230. But, it looks like it is a GSM only phone, no CDMA radios?

The new G6 Play 2/16GB model for $79 is a bargain, especially if it can be unlocked for use on any carrier. Yes, it would be terrific if it was the 3/32 GB version, but it looks like the model being sold by the Prepaid providers is the 2/16 GB model. The unlocked version comes in 3/32 GB.

Reading all these comments about the G6... I just bought the Boost version. Am I still ok to use it on this plan?

I think the model on the BB website (PAA30001US) is the XT1922-9. I found a listing for this phone for $170 with free shipping. Not sure if it is a reputable site....lol.

Yes, call to activate. If they ask you what phone it is, tell them it's a Sprint Motorola phone.

The policy is that Boost phones cannot be activated on Sprint postpaid but people are getting them on for now by not mentioning it is Boost.

It already has a sim.

I guess you used the online process contrary to everybody's advice.

You could either wait or not wait.
