Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I got it now, all the while I assumed a phone number was associated with the g6 and thats the one i needed to port in. Now i got it that i can port in any number into this g6 IMEI. Thanks so much for patiently answering my questions.

Quote from comintel :
No they will not. Just the number you port in. If they ask for a number you just give them the number you are porting in. You are porting in a number not a phone. You are activating a phone. There does need to be any prior association between phone and number. But you do not get into all that with them. Just give them one phone number.

They might ask for a number to reach you at as well which is fine and would be another phone of course.

Did you port from TMO to sprint what account number did you use for TMO phone number as an account number?
Didn't mean to leave you high and dry. When I ported out to T-Mobile and then set up a new account with Sprint the port would never go through from T-Mobile. Everything I read everywhere, including T-Mobiles own site, said prepaid was your 10 digit phone number. Finally I called since Sprint couldn't complete the port and T-Mobile said they'd changed prepaid about 3 weeks ago and now have a unique account number and it's no longer the 10 digit phone number.

Thanks. Can I just buy a new iphone 8 verizon from apple at full proce and will it work for this plan. Also would my s9 work.
Last year I bought an iPhone 7 unlocked from Apple and then walked over to Verizon to activate it on a new account. After I confirmed Verizon was active I proceeded with the online order for sprint byod. Worked fine.

In my case I was getting another phone for a family member who didn't have a phone or account. If you are already with another provider, you should just be able to activate the new phone from Apple on your current account and then try the sprint byod plan. Or it could be as simple as using the new phones imei when applying online for the byod plan, using your current providers phone number.
