Sorry, didn't understand. What is virtual sim? Can you provide ebay link? Thanks
Its in the wiki and see post #18122. Basically, search ebay for 7705583480. Buy the sim card from him and you get the sim card number (Not the physical card) and can use that to sign up with tmobile. Its cheaper and faster than buying the physical card.

Didn't mean to leave you high and dry. When I ported out to T-Mobile and then set up a new account with Sprint the port would never go through from T-Mobile. Everything I read everywhere, including T-Mobiles own site, said prepaid was your 10 digit phone number. Finally I called since Sprint couldn't complete the port and T-Mobile said they'd changed prepaid about 3 weeks ago and now have a unique account number and it's no longer the 10 digit phone number.
Thanks for this info. Has anyone else experienced this in the past few days? I got a TM sim from eBay a few weeks ago but have been totally putting off the port.

Thx. Was it 1+Phone number or was it something random?

+1 for us country code? I picked a phone number in the area code I wanted. Not really sure what you are asking, but I liked tmobile a lot better than the ATT experience.

Sorry, I meant was your account number simply 11 digits long (1 and then your phone number: 1XXX-XXX-XXXX). THat's the way it's always been for T-Mobile, but somebody said they changed that a few weeks ago and started assigning random account numbers. I just wanted to check with someone who signed up recently . No big deal. Thanks...

Yes. TM pre-paid account numbers are 1+phone number. You'll also need the pin that you set up with them.
Thanks for clarifying and welcome aboard.
Quote from klutch14u :
Crazy. I had to call to get mine which were totally unique and not reflective of my phone number, at all. Girl said they changed it about 3 weeks ago and were no longer using the number
So weird!

I guess the key here is to always have the T-mo rep verify your account number and pin before ending the call.

I see. Your question about porting out to t-mo and back to sprint confused me.

I believe the G6 is universal, you can use the sprint checker.

But a T-Mobile account on eBay. There's probably links in the Wiki on p.1 here, but if not they're easy to find by searching "T-Mobile Account for Porting" or something similar. Many in this thread have done it.
