Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I'm sure this has been answered in the 20k+ posts but would appreciate quick help. Currently have the old BYOD free year from last summer about to expire. Are people able to port out / back in for another free year and if so what's the quickest / easiest way? Only have one line. Thanks!

It's in the wiki. Out to TMobile and in within a couple of hours if you provide the right details.

So I see that bit at the bottom about calling to get set up on t-mobile prepaid if that's the info, just didn't see anyone verifying you could use the same phone and even sprint Sim when you come right back after porting.

Same phone same sim. If using a virtual sim, be sure to have a second working phone to call into the sprint promo line.

I'm planning on canceling my BYOD plan, almost at the end of one one year promo. In the past I've used free H2O sim cards to port into H2O. I never had to fund the H2O account, just initiate the port and it would close out the account that I was porting from, in this case my Sprint account. I don't care about keeping the number.

I haven't seen anyone using H2O for porting out of Sprint, so I'm curious to know if something has changed with H2O and porting into that MVNO. Do you now have to fund the new account?

I did that last year too, but i'm not sure if they require money now. And you have to wait like 5 days before they give you account and pin number, so for that reason I went the t-mo virtual sim route for $3 a piece.

So reading through the only thing you really need to make this work after going the t-mobile route is a new family members ssn correct to open the account in their name? They won't let me use mine to resign up right away?

Special edition means US unlocked (unbranded) version.
The S7/edge they will only accept Sprint version or Unbranded version. No carrier branded or international models.
The S8/+ they accept US unbranded version and carrier branded versions(att, tmobile, verizon). No international models

hi..i have ordered the tmobile number from ebay 192515225200 for porting in to sprint. I already have one line activated under this offer and planning to use the tmobile number for adding an additional line. Are the below steps correct

1) Call Spring and initate the port in process of tmobile number with the phone number i receive from ebay kit
2) Use the best buy triband sim kit or order sim from sprint

Do i need to have a device handy with IMEI number for the 2nd line activation as well?

Would you happen to know if that is the case for all Sprint customers? e.g. I have BYOD ending but my wife is a non-BYOD paying Sprint customer. Wondering if the SSN check is just to see if you've used the BYOD plan before or if it is a previous-Sprint-customer check.

I was able to sign up with my Moto X Pure and a Google Voice number. I already have T-Mobile and I plan on using both services. Is there anything wrong with doing that? Will I need a active phone number to port? I'm waiting for my sim now in the mail.
