Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I've purchased and activated three Boost G6 Play's. I was able to get the first one unlocked. A few days later I submitted for the other two unlocks. After three days I received an email telling me they need to be activated for 50 days before they can be unlocked. The one G6 that I was able to get unlocked works on both AT&T and Verizon.
Got you, thnx for the info.

Why do you say it was supposed to be unlocked?
Boost phones, like most prepaid phones, are always locked to Sprint and even to only Boost prepaid use normally.
Occasionally third-party unlocks become available for the GSM side but Boost policy is one year on Boost before unlock.
Sprint general unlock policy requires 50 days on Sprint.
Low-cost prepaid Moto's never come unlocked initially on any carrier as far as I know.
Hi comintel, i was just joking that the sprint byod plan supposedly allows only unlocked phones....so i was saying its supposed to be unlocked already

Believe it or not, this is the FIRST time anyone has ever asked that question in this megathread.

Do I need to go to my Sprint account online to enable the roaming?
In the last few days, When I travel to non-Sprint coverage area, my Sprint didn't roam to their partners.

I know because I stopped my car sit there for like 5 minute. Nothing happen. No data, no voice.
When I go home, I check the coverage map, I see At&t and Verizon are in that area.

Can you Check Preferred Network type?

About half of the reps say that (percent may be increasing with time).
Try again a few times or try online signup if this is your first line.
Do not mention Boost and do not volunteer anything other than that it is a Motorola phone.

Hey guys I have read some of the info in this thread. But I would really appreciate it, if someone can help me out a little more. My one year of free service ends in July, and I wanted to know what's the best way to port out and port back in for another year of free service. I want to keep my numbers.

So if I use T-Mobile to port out, should I get an actual sim or will the virtual sim I see listed on eBay work if I want to keep my numbers?

also if I port out to T-Mobile how long do I have to wait until I can port back in, and will i be able to
use my old sprint sims or should I get new ones?

Also if anybody wants to message me a referral link for the $50, I can use that. : )

thanks for the help, Or is there a better way I should go about this.

Shouldn't, but you may have to use someone else's SSN to join back on Sprint before 45 days.

Does Sprint consider you a new customer after being gone for 45 days?
