Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I only had one line but use the info towards the top of the wiki for the digital sim info. You can order a physical sim if you want but the digital was fast and easy. Ordered it, verified it was ready to activate on t-mobile website after receiving it a few minutes later, then called t mobile to set up new account/port over. Make sure you are clear you want to set up prepaid account, they will transfer you to the India call center. Go through the steps to port over with the agent and just say you wanna use prepaid cards, you won't need to give credit card or personal info. Make sure and take note of new pin you set up, account number will be the phone number. Once it goes through, verify account is closed and not active with sprint. You can use the link for this promo to check phone info to see if it's ready to go. Then call sprint back and set up new account. Must be a new person opening it/new ssn. You can use same phones and sims. Took a little over an hour total because of language barrier. And FYI the referral doesn't work anymore, that was only last year before terms were updated. Good luck!
i have done most of what u have said above.
currently my phone with tm.
(i used virtual sim ..so i am a bit worried...but i will port back to sprint tomorrow

Not trying to flame anyone (not entirely sure what that even means).
Just trying to get people to read the wiki for common questions that get asked over and over again.

especially in these mega threads

Well, I was ready to take a chance on this, but I'm on Tmobiles PREPAID plan and it appears you have to currently be on a POSTPAID plan to take advantage of this. If I'm wrong, please let me know.

Yes, and this is from the wiki:

"Credit approval req. Req. AutoPay, eBill, and port-in from postpaid carrier. 1 year free Unlimited Offer: Eligible device must be unlocked and compatible with Sprint SIM card and network. Reqs. SIM card purchase ($2.99 + $10 S&H + tax). SIM must be activated prior to port-in. No device upgrade allowed during first 120 days. "

Reading that in the wiki lead me to the conclusion I cannot port. Since I'm not in a position to read through a 1,000 page thread to see conflicting info, I assumed it was right.

I don't think they knew the difference before.. maybe that's why tmobile changed account number system? Both my ports were from pay as you go, 1 att and 1 tm.

How long ago did you switch to the free Sprint plan? Did you buy your sim from Sprint directly or another reseller?

about 2 weeks ago, I didn't not buy any sprint sims. My first phone I tried with was a VM ZTE max XL, I later found out those phones are never supposed to be allowed on, so I was really blessed. I opened a Pay as you go line on ATT to port on.

2nd was a Moto G6 play after learning about the boost phone here, did a second att pay as you go, but this time the rep made me fill account with $10 because they knew I ported the first line.

3rd was another g6 play, and I bought a virtual tmobile sim on ebay since I didnt want to spend $10 at att... I did the first 2 att because I had some sims around form when I bough pay as you go phones to use on my post paid lines. Feel free to search my post here. I tried to document the info for others. You can get a lot of info here once you know what to search for.

Thnx....but the irony here is, it is supposed to be unlocked already😃.....but maybe no harm in requesting one after 50 days. Was curious if others has luck via third party unlock codes...
Nope, the boost phones are not unlocked phones. Boost is supposed to unlock them once completed terms.

Sprint has been able to unlock some already once on their system.

They denied my request saying I need to wait 50 days the day after the rep submitted my request. I will try again later. Hoping they will unlock it for me at that time.

No harm in you trying now, only a bit of time and possibly an answer of no.

Mine looks just like your, and I also have roaming enabled on the menu above it.

I do see in my usage I have used a little bit of roaming, but I dont know how it really works. Since there have been times my moto will not work, I'll have to note the signal strength at the time. At the same time I've used my ATT phone just fine so I dont know why sprint didnt just roam over.

0.627/See Terms MB (My roaming use)

Also if roaming was really super seamless I dont think there would be an issue of coverage since there is generally at least 1 carrier with good strength pretty much anywhere around me (Verizon).

I just check my Sprint account. It show:
roaming
0/See Terms MB

Probably Sprint forgot to turn my line roaming switch ON?

That appears to show that it is on (at least at the account level) but you haven't used any.

Roaming is optional on some Boost plans though so conceivably it does not work properly when a Boost phone is not on Boost. There could be lots of other reasons though which are probably more likely. It could be a provisioning issie or a PRL (tower/routing instructions) issue or Roaming may be broken in your area.

Do you guys face this problem
.

Today I was travelling to little 10miles towards other end of city...
Phone was continuously showing LTE and even I restarted it and still showing LTE...but I was not able to load Google maps or even google.com.... so data was not working at all for 10mins and started working after I traveled 5-10mins more in the car ....

I felt like there is no sprint signal but it was signal in phone and as I said LTE too.... Then I thought I used data perhaps more than a limit on free plan...is it 23gb free?

It randomly happens actually earlier too but always used to stop only for few seconds...but today was for multiple minutes

Did a boost iphone 6 and boost g6 successfully.

How did you do it? I need a cheap phone to port in to and seems like there are no good options on Swappa. I was hoping for a new phone so was thinking a Moto E4, but no one has mentioned a boost E4 (or even better new E5 Play) on here. Were your phones new in box or what?

TIA
