Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I am pretty sure the boost tri kit should work for your iphone but its 10 bucks anyway.
Yeah, I rather just sign-up for the free year promotion online, that way when they send me the sim, I just go to the activation page, port my number from Metropcs and it should all be good.

Any idea how long the port will take? I plan on porting over my number 2 weeks from today, so I guess I will create my account and order a sim on the 22nd.

Simple question: if I switch (from prepaid Tmo, currently) and it turns out sprint service in my area is unacceptable, am I able to leave before the 1 year is up?
Of course, just close your account by porting out,

Should be almost instant to port. Word of warning an account is not created until the number is ported. So if you get off the phone with them without successful port you have to start over again.,

LG G3 and OG Pixel. I think the 506C partially works with the pixel. No way to verify until port in completes. If it ever does because the telesales was a dick and clueless.
Maybe the G3 couldn't use 506C because older Sprint postpaid device. It takes 226R(micro size) or 216R(end of life). Still hoped the 506C would have worked but guess not. Good to know as my backup S5 would not be able to use then either.

Thanks, I figured if I do the pre account setup (giving my SSN, IMEI, etc) the port should go through real smoothly when I receive the sprint sim in the mail. I heard you just go to the activation page, put in your current wireless account info and the sim number on the card sprint sent which should be tied to your order for the free year promo.

Yes, but with some work.

You'll need a compatible phone (see list in wiki). If your phone with Virgin is a compatible phone (in the list) you'll need to get the PLBL flag cleared (since Virgin is a Sprint reseller). There are people here that can help with that.

Then, once again because Virgin is a Sprint reseller, you'll need to port the number out to TMobile Pay As You Go, then port it to Sprint.

Tried last week, both my IMEI and Phone number (since it's Virgin) were eligible, if I switched to T-Mobile will sprint asks me for SSN? Can't provide another since I currently got my SSN and don't have any close relative to share

I updated the steps to include the T mobile account details if it helps others. To your question, yes each phone line has its own pin for Tmobile pay as you go/prepaid.

1)First, have your Sprint account number and PIN ready.
2) Order the Tmobile prepaid/pay as you go SIM card from Amazon. Its around $8.95..Chose one day shipping and pay extra $5 to get it the next day.
3) You don't have to recharge/reload the SIM. Once receive the SIM, call Tmobile customer care and ask them to port your sprint number to Tmobile. Just give them your Sprint Acc. no, PIN , Phone number and T mobile SIM card number
4) Your number will be ported to T mobile in less than 5 minutes. Your Tmobile Account number will be your phone number prefixed by 1 Ex: 1 214-xxx-xxxx and the pin number will be the one that you setup initially during the porting or activation process.Note that for each line in Tmobile prepaid, it will be a separate account number i.e. the phone number of each line prefixed by 1 for that line. Again PIN number would be what you have set during number porting/activation for each line.
5) Wait for about an hour and Chat with Sprint Customer care and verify if your account is cancelled. Someone mentioned you can also check the status on sprint byod page with IMEI number.
6) Now call back sprint telesales number and port your Tmobile number to Sprint with a different SSN ( a family members)
7) After about 45 mins or so with all credit check etc done, you are good to go for another one year.
Does this exact process work for current Virgin Mobile users who wish to get a Sprint plan?

Is someone able to answer this question?

Like sabry, I don't have someones SSN to use; can you use your own SSN at some point?
