Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

You don't have to order Sim Card online. I purchased mine from Twigby and it took a few days to get her. People have been purchasing from Best Buy etc. Depends on what phone you have.

I would try and purchase from Best Buy if you need the phone working right away or if an I phone you can get it from Apple store.

Read Wiki on sim cards and make sure you have the correct sim card---from what others have said Sprint Stores don't always give you the correct Sim Cards for your phone and it's usually not free. Not sure if you purchased yours at the store yet.

You will need to port to T Mobile and back to Sprint as you mentioned.IY

I need help.
I have an Apple iPhone SE that I got about a year ago from BestBuy, and thanks to SD, it was the best deal ever. I almost got the phone for free.
I cancelled the service with Sprint, and now I have it with Ting. I don't use their Talk nor Text, but the Data only since I have Google Voice number that I use with Hangout.
When I go to Sprint website, it says my phone is not eligible and not qualified. When I put my Google Voice number, it still is not good.

Can I still use this Free-for-1-year offer? Is it my phone, regardless of the carrier?
If I port out to T-mobile, then would the Sprint website say, Eligible?

What do I do to use my Google Voice number with Sprint? I can pay $3 to unlock the number with Google. I have a Sprint sim card, so I can call 866-782-8777. But I think the website should say Eligible first.

Should I port out my Google Voice number to Ting or T-mobile?

Is your Apple iPhone SE unlocked? I mean factory unlocked. Not ebay unlock code.

Yes, it is unlocked. Otherwise, I could not have ported out to Ting.
From researching it, the was someone that ported out to Ting, then wanted to use this 1-year-free promotion. It was said: A sprint rep would have to change it in the DMD.

I have no clue.

It looks like Ting added Prepaid on your phone. You need to tell them to change it back to Postpaid.
This is why I would never bring expensive unlocked phone to Sprint Prepaid. So much trouble.

Here is someone else's comment to someone that ported out to TING:
That's because you put it on Ting. Now the ownership flag in the Sprint DMD says PLBL instead of SPCS. A sprint rep would have to change it in the DMD.
How can I make it happen? Or like you said, if I call Ting, would it solve it?

it looks like Ting added your Iphone to its cdma (Sprint) side. that is why your phone and number does not qualify. Ting uses 2 networks, cdma (Sprint) and GSM (T-Mobile). If anyone else ports out to ting make sure you use their GSM side so you will qualify for the 1 Year Free BYOD. Ask Ting if they can flip you back to GSM. If they can, then check your eligiblity.

The above mentioned sim card is in the Boost triple pack. They do list the sim#'s on the box.
Also--make sure that Target rings it up at $114.99---mine was marked 160.98 and that's what it rang up as and the guy said unless I had an ad--that's the price and I told him that I saw it listed for $114.99 and he said that doesn't matter and then another guy came up and he looked it up on his phone and found it somewhere on Target website--not sure where because I don't see it listed for that price but they did do a match price.

Didn't pick up the sim card tho---I can get it for 2.99 with FREE shipping online. I can wait a few more days to activate it. Not a big deal for me. It will give me time to get everything else loaded on it and see how I like it.

I called yesterday and asked if they had a phone and they said yes and they held it for me. I never asked the price of it--so I went in there not knowing what it was going to ring up as. I didn't want it disappear at the $115 price Smilie.
Where do you get this sim card for $2.99 with FS. I got g5 plus from target. I am going to get new number with tmobile trick. Do i need to wait until i get sprint sim to port it into sprint with this deal. Looks i can get tmobile number, sign up for sprint deal. I will have time to get the sim activate the phone on sprint.

Could anyone tell me if $3 TMobile prepaid temp line can be inactive for 2 days (meaning no refill with zero balance) while awaiting for Sprint BYOD 1Yr free sims to arrive Monday?

Thank you!

Just wondering the same thing. The free year plan obviously is a better deal for the short term, but the $15 unlimited plan may stay grandfathered in for the next decade...
I have serious doubts that the new T-Mobile will allow the Kickstarter $15 plan and other super low-cost legacy plans to continue after Sprint is absorbed in the merger. Knowing T-Mobile, they will force-switch these people to higher cost plans, eventually. The free plan should be OK though since it's only an introductory price and it defaults to the more profitable $60 Unlimited Freedom plan.

Anyone swap phone after the sign up this plan?

I signed up this 1yr free plan two month ago by using Moto X pure.
My Moto X pure was overheating while playing some game and then it malfunction(screen bleeding) now.
If I purchase non-listed phone(maybe S9) and then SWAP, can I still keep the free plan? Or swap with the listed phone only?

You can do a chat session and easily swap IF the imei passes the check. I doubt an s9 would unless it's a sprint phone

You can swap with any eligible phone anytime and still enjoy your free plan. You just can't upgrade until you are "upgrade eligible" which I think is 4 months.
