Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I am sure it's been asked in the 20,000 comments already but I searched and can not find an answer.

Back in March of this year I setup one line. I want to add another line. If I do this will this line expire in March 2018 or will it get the new date of July 2018? If it is a separate expiration date is it a new account or a different one?

Thanks and sorry if the question was recently asked.
All lines will expire 1 year after the 1st line was activated. It is always based on the 1st line.

Thanks. How do I do that, though? I went part way through the online process and didn't see anything for it. Do you have to call?
If u already have sim cards for your phones. You can call the 8777 number. If you don't have sim cards then you can do it online. Or go to bestbuy, apple store, Sprint store get the sim cards.

Can I do it on weekend? I'm afraid port out, port in will take longer during weekend???
I'm not sure why you are so concerned. You set up the port out when you call to initialize the plan. Either way you should have a working line on either until the port is complete. It's not like it goes in limbo.

Hi,
Do i need to have compatible sprint sim (g5 plus) for my phone while calling sprint to get into this plan. Can I port to sprint ( sign up tmobile number first) by calling into this plan and get the sprint sim card later. What are the cheapest option for me to get unlocked g5 plus sim card for sprint plan.
There is a link in the wiki to get it from Twigby. $2.99 and it usually arrives in 2-4 business days. Try this code at checkout 'WOUTFREESIM' and it might be free.

Thanks. I have another stupid question, if you don't mind.

Will my current phone accounts (with an AT&T MVNO) be canceled the second I sign up for this (whether on the website or by phone)?

I don't actually have my new devices yet, and I don't want to end up with no phone service at all while they ship.

So, do I need to wait until I have the new phones in hand? Or can I activate a line right now but keep using my AT&T service until I'm ready to activate the Sprint SIM once the new phone arrives?

Has anyone added an apple watch to their free plan? I am on the free plan with two lines and I want to add a cellular enabled apple watch, but don't want to risk messing up my free two lines. Anyone have any experience with this?
I definitely suggest you to try that..there is no risk...

Even if they change or add a different line than free plan still it will not mess up ur free lines becoz free lines and paid lines can coexist in same account.

I don't have a lte watch so I cannot try this..but you can do that

I guess I'm never going to make this work. The only phones we were interested in were LG G5, LG V20, or Galaxy Note 4.

I bought some that said "Sprint version" in the listing, but they didn't say "unlocked." Now that I am looking, I can't seem to find ANY that say "Sprint" and "unlocked" for these phones. What am I missing?

I originally thought I could get "unlocked CDMA" versions, but someone said I might end up with a Verizon phone that wouldn't work with this plan.

Extra reps to anyone who can help me buy the right dang phones? (Prefer LG V20)

I believe ATT ports are fairly quick. Wait til you have phones and sims(ICCID) in hand and then call the promo number. Please refer to the wiki regarding sims.

I assume you are getting them used? Always get the IMEI ahead of time and run them by the sprint checker to see if they pass. The sim is only for LTE data and is not swappable like GSM phones.

Thank you for your responses! I don't care if they are used or not, but the phones are old enough that they'll probably have to be used.

So, if it says Sprint, that's not good enough, right? I don't understand why I can't use a Sprint-locked phone for a Sprint plan.

Can you help me understand this madness? Can I just call Sprint and have them unlock it for free?

I have a question about phone upgrades. Sprint's webpage appears to imply that even if you upgrade after the 120 day lockout period you will still lose the remaining free months if you buy your new phone from anybody other than Sprint. For example, replacing my iPhone 6s this fall at the Apple Store with the latest iPhone model. Is this a correct reading of the T&C?

If the listing says it's a Sprint phone then you should be good as long as it's a clean ESN(IMEI)

It appears you read it correctly:

"Upgrades for the lines activated on the Free Unlimited plan will be allowed after 4 months of service. At that time, return to sprint.com and log in to your account to purchase/lease your new phone. When it arrives, visit www.sprint.com/activate to activate the new phone. Any upgrades prior to the 4 months or in a retail location will require a plan change to the Unlimited data, talk and text plan which starts at $60 per month after an AutoPay discount. Unfortunately, you'll lose the remaining free months in your year of free service if you upgrade early or purchase/lease your new phone in a retail location."
