Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Eventhough it says tablets ineligible right above box where you enter IMEI.
The Imei will even pass and let you sign up for sim and credit check.
When he gets sim and goes to activate it will charge him $15 or $25 a month for tablet plan.
Then he will moan and groan about wasting $13 on a sim and credit check.
Not to mention lay blame elsewhere, write Congresswoman, and start a class action.

I have serious doubts that the new T-Mobile will allow the Kickstarter $15 plan and other super low-cost legacy plans to continue after Sprint is absorbed in the merger. Knowing T-Mobile, they will force-switch these people to higher cost plans, eventually. The free plan should be OK though since it's only an introductory price and it defaults to the more profitable $60 Unlimited Freedom plan.
Dunno... I still have two TMO prepaid lines on ice that takes only $10 a year to keep going on a legacy plan that is no longer available. I see no evidence of tmo being afraid of low cost lines.

They're the uncarrier, right? Smilie But the loss of a competitor in the space might change things. Three competitors is not the same as four, and we saw what the loss of competitors did for gasoline/oil.

uncarrier my ass. T-Mobile is known for killing unprofitable plans. tmobile lies about coverage.
I hope the merger won't go through.

So, I know from the wiki that you can swap out phones after you've activated.

What about this? If I activate one line using a phone from the approved list, do all the other lines that I add have to be on the list and swapped later, or can I just use any Sprint phone for the lines I add later?

For example, let's say I start by adding one line using an iPhone 6+. When I add another line later, could I add the new line with an old Galaxy Note 3? Or do I have to first add the extra line using a device from the list, and then later swap it for the Galaxy Note 3?

Unti l you get a answer,

Line 1 , eligible ip6+ .
Then put any Sprint device on line 1, and now the ip6+ becomes eligible to do line 2.
Repeat.

The best way to know is to check your phone's imei number on Sprint's 1 year free byod promo website. It does not matter what phone you have. As long as the checker says eligible, then all you need is the right sim card for your phone and your 99% sure you're good to go!

But we know for a fact that even phones that don't pass the checker can still be added. I'm asking if phones that don't pass the checker can be added directly, on the 2nd, 3rd, etc. line once I have used a checker-approved phone to setup the first line.

Ohh, I have not gone that route. But if you already have a comparable sim, I'd just call and sound confident and tell the phone rep you want to add a new line and give them the imei and sim number. The least they can say is "no".

1. You can keep your number.

2. You have to use a different SSN ( May be your spouse's SSN ), different than the one which you used for free one year already

3. You can reuse the same old sims

4. That's the reason you will use a different SSN
I am on a regular sprint plan not the free one but I am wondering how can you use your spouse's ssn for this deal because then it will be under his name and he won't be able to get the deal if the deal is for one free line only? SInce I've never been on the free plan will it matter that I was a regular sprint customer?

Not sure what you mean. If you open a plan with his ss number you are usually approved for more than 1 line. Therefore you could both use the plan.

More than 1 person can be on the free plan? What is the limit of lines one can have for free on one account?

Did you read anything from the wiki?
When you sign up, they will pull your credit. Then they will tell you how many lines. Why people keep asking same thing.
