Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

My Republic Wireless Phone is not eligible. Question: Can I buy an unlocked phone at Best Buy like the new Moto G6 for $250 unlocked, purchase a Verizon sim and activate a prepaid account? I was told by someone that only post paid accounts are eligible, meaning I need a contract with Verizon, and there would be a $350 contract termination fee. Has anyone been able to take advantage of this deal by switching an unlocked prepaid Verizon phone?

It states pretty clearly that international roaming is included in the free plan. Just want to confirm that others have successfully used it without any unexpected charges?

Are international services included?
Yes, our 1 Year Free Unlimited plan includes Sprint Global Roaming, which includes data up to 2G speeds and text messaging in any of our 185+ Global Roaming countries at no charge, plus calling for just $0.20 a minute
Just used it in Germany, Italy, etc. No extra charges. In fact, when you first enter a new country, Sprint sends you a text message telling you your texts and data are free, and the per minute phone rate (which varies by country).

As far as data speed, it was plenty fast for Google Maps, Uber, restaurant searching, etc. Was it capped to 2G? Dunno, couldn't tell. Didn't try to watch youtube, lol

You will have to try a TMobile Prepaid number then. If you read the thread or the Wiki you can do that for a similar price.
I bought a TMO SIM ICCID but I just realized the wiki mentions porting a # to TMO first. I don't have a #. Are there fees to sign up for prepaid and get a # from TMO?

I can't remember if prepaid uses refill cards but the person in the WIKI mentioned refill cards so isn't that PAYGO?

You can buy both types on EBay (with and without a number) but I do not know if you can get a number for the type you bought. Most likely someone will know or I would suggest ask the EBay seller.

In most past months, also, they have had an internal listing of the plan that showed that it expired at the end of the current month. This has just been for bookkeeping purposes so far. Come the next month, it would show the same thing for that month.

The question is whether this is something different, this time, from all the numerous prior end of month "expiry" listings on internal documents.

It certainly could be, so people should (as was the case all the previous times, too) bear that in mind and sign up now if they are going to do so. I do not think there is really any underlying disagreement on that.

I'm using a pixel 2xl on the byod plan and everything is working as expected. You could try a few troubleshooting steps like rebooting, go to mobile network settings and update prl and device config, etc. This should definitely reset the data connectivity settings.
thank you. i tried everything and all that. the only thing that worked was downloading the app Change APN and reset. then restarted my phone.... voila .... it worked!!! (from this link https://www.reddit.com/r/Sprint/c...m-comments)

Seeing if anyone has seen this. I have re-ported 3 of 4 lines so far but remembered that one of my lines with iP4s is not eligible for byod. So I was going to do like I did last time and re-port with an eligible phone and swap with iP4s (been working fine on Sprint until now).

I called Sprint Tech support to do swap and they told me that they could not find the iP4s in their database. They said it was bc the phone was on a prepaid plan (which is true since I ported out to Tmo prepaid using digital SIM like folks have been doing). The Tech Support guy said he was trying to escalate and has been calling me to provide updates.

Has anyone seen this type of thing - is it pretty typical? Appreciate your thoughts here. Feel like I'm running out of time for the last line!

I tried to add a free line to my existing Kickstart and they wouldn't do it. They said that's not in the terms. Has anyone added this free line to an existing Kickstart account line? I know the plan requires you to be a new customer, there's got to be a way around that.

Do you really man iPhone 4S?

In any case, they mean it was sold as a Boost or Virgin prepaid phone originally. Is that true? If so yes it is probably ineligible unless released by Boost or Virgin after the required period of paid time on those services.

Occasionally they let one slip on anyway which is what happened the first time. - you happened to be lucky that time.

Maybe this is not all the case but that's what they are saying I think.

You have no right to swap on ineligible phones - you can just get away with it sometimes when they are sloppy and fail to catch it, that's all. The guy you are dealing with now is evidently a sticker for the rules and blocked it when he saw it was prepaid. He'll probably note your account too. Some of them do not care and let them through.

Easiest way would be have a family member use their SSN for a new plan that you could share use of.

Can someone clarify this for me:

I understand that porting a number out of Ting to TMO will close the Ting account and should "clear" the IMEI for Sprint activation on BYOD (If not, I need to talk to talk to the reddit guy).

But will getting a new number at TMO and activating a phone that was on Ting do the same? Even if I just have a virtual sim and don't get on the TMO network?

Much appreciation in advance.
