I had 2 lines that were on Sprint and did the Tmobile prepaid port (bought the virtual sim for $3.25), told them I would be getting a prepaid card from the store and did not put any money on the line. I waited a couple hours, but Sprint is getting an error when trying to port the numbers from Tmobile Prepaid. They are coming back as the lines are not active. I called Tmobile Prepaid again and they told me the lines are active and the account and pin numbers verified. What could be going wrong and what do I need to do in the next hour to make this happen?

Thanks.
Take it up with the fleaBay reseller scumbag that sold you their ICCID and phone number. Sprint ports T-Mobile numbers prepaid or postpaid in a matter of minutes unless you're giving them wrong info

Shouldn't have gone cheap and done the virtual SIM card.

To the mod that deleted my post, why would you leave the preceding post which offered no information other than to laugh at me?

Frontierboy, if I knew there was even a 1% chance that it would not work, I would not have done it. Everyone said it worked fine. But thanks so much for your thoughtful post. /sarcasm

Hey, just a heads up that I ported to the virtual T-Mo SIM from my free year account to port it back in for another. When I first called this evening to port it back into Sprint on a different account, the woman said it was giving error messages similar to yours. She asked her supervisor and the supervisor said the "system" was rebooting and to call back in an hour. I called back an hour later and it went through perfectly (though she did sign me up for protection without saying anything about it).

There's still hope. Good luck!

saw the promotion valid until 7/31/2019, so it may end the end of July. I might be wrong though.

It has been saying that end-of-savings date 7/31/2019 for a month or two, even after they quoted the offer as expiring at the end of June. 7/31/2019 is the end of savings date for people who sign up today. It does hint that they at least thought about keeping the promotion signup open to 7/31/2018 but does not necessarily imply that.

We will see.

We may not know until we see a new month-end or other date for the end of signup quoted in writing by Sprint because they might wait for a week-day or whatever if they do cut it off.

Doubtful. I think Sprint is too lazy to cut this deal. It will probably go on for many more months.

Yes, thanks! They didn't tell me anything about the system rebooting, so I ended up adding $10 to one of the Tmobile accounts to see if it would matter before I called Sprint back. It did not. But fortunately, both numbers were ported!! So it was a waste of $10, but I got both numbers ported successfully tonight. Must have been a Sprint issue, just my luck.

That said, I'm sure this promo will continue for another month. Smilie

How were people able to get the Google Voice number on? Was it only for the 2nd and other lines?
I tried to port in only a Google Voice number for my first line, but the CS rep said it needed to come from a carrier and that she needed an account number for the carrier.

Don't listen to those losers who didn't use a virtual sim and paid more than $3.25 to port out to T-Mobile. I've used the virtual sim port out several times and it's working great. As seatul said, there is currently an issue on Sprint's port system which is now resolved so try it again. Nothing wrong on TMobile end

Google voice is no different from any other carrier. Just give Sprint the account number and pin Google provides after you pay the $3 port out unlock fee

Stop spreading lies and FUD. TMobile Virtual sim method works well and has had many successes if you bothered to read. In the end it was due to Sprints crappy port system overload that was the issue. Probably because surge in a last minute port in due to the possible 6/30 deadline. Nothing to do with T-Mobile virtual sim issues

No. Boost models are not allowed on Sprint postpaid (unless you can sneak it on which people have been doing with Boost Moto G6 Play from Walmart for $80 but not usually with other models). If you want to try, the Boost G6 Play is a better choice because it supports all Sprint features (such as Wifi Calling). Read this thread about pros and cons though first.
Thanks for the info. I couldn't find the G6 on WalMart or Target. The problem could be I wanted to pick it up in-store today. Found it on Best Buy for $130. Actually, it's not for me but for a co-worker I'm trying to get him on this deal. He was supposed to go to BB tonight on his way home from work to get the phone. I'll find out tomorrow if he did or not.
