I agree with you that people simply did not believe that the Free Plan is possible. I could convince very few people (almost no-one).

That people would throng onto a $15 plan instead was quite a surprise to me and I suspect it was a shock to Sprint as well.

I suspect that they were so shocked that they realized that they need to recalibrate their marketing strategy from scratch and are in the process of doing so with new studies etc. I imagine this may take a few months and some secret trials before we see what they decide to do next. Really I have no idea what it will be.

I do not understand either why this plan remains attractive to them.
I suspect it is for people like me who was willing to sign up for the $15 a month plan with the expectation it would last more than a year. I get that you can play games with porting out and in, etc to enroll in a second year of free - if you want to take the chance the free plan is around in another year. But if I can pay $15 a month for more than a year I am happy

On another note, me moving to the $15 plan prompted me to move my wife now to the free plan. Successfully completed it today. Ran into a hiccup because I thought my Boost Mobile account number was same as the phone number - but after it not porting over in a couple of hours, I realized the error, called Boost for the account number, called t-mobile and resolved that after being transferred 4 times at Tmobile.

By the way there is a spelling error in your own post.
Yes, I saw it but tapping on the cell phone to reply is really PIA.

I've never said I'm intelligent but stupid enough to understand your replies. Just your punctuation and writing structure hurt my eyes. And yes, your replies did help people with problems.

The best option you have now is the Google pixel or Moto phones available with deep discount. If you search the SD site, you will find it or if you have a CDMA phone, port out to sprint. The promotion is still available. I helped a senior citizen today to port from T-mobile to Sprint in 30 minutes. He was paying $65 a month.

Hi, I added 4 device to this plan under the same account over 2-week period. Just received the first bill for $2.90 for taxes. Does anyone know if this bill is only for one device or for all 4 device together? The bill only shows one number though... Will I get one bill per device? Thanks

I've read almost all the posts. But I have a couple specific questions about porting to Tmobile digital sim and back to Sprint byod for another year.

1) Do I have to wait until my year ends on 7/31/18 to port to Tmobile digital sim, or can I port now?

2) Can I use my teenage son's SS# to resign up on Sprint?

The $2.90 is most likely the monthly charge for just the one device you see on your bill, as that's the average tax amount per device in California. You should see the charges for the other 3 devices on your next bill.

1) You don't have to wait until 7/31, you can and should port now, just to be safe. 2) Most teenager's have no credit history/score, so you cannot use your son's SS# to resign up. Use your spouse's or another close adult family member.

I was able to remove it by going to My Sprint --> Change services
Then select the phone number to change services on (if you have more than one phone line on this account) and select Continue
In the "Protection_TEP" section, I was able to uncheck "Total Equipment Protection Plus".
Then "Continue" and it got removed from my account.

My first bill had already been created before I removed the insurance, so I don't know if it was removed immediately (and will get a partial credit on the next bill) or it didn't take effect until the next billing cycle.
But it showed gone on the main Sprint page immidiately after I unchecked that box.
If I don't see a partial credit on this next bill for the remaining amount of the month, after I removed the insurance, then I'll chat with customer service to get the credit.
I'll give an update after my next bill arrives.
What happened with your next bill? Did you get a prorated credit for the TEP charge?

I saw the charge just minutes after the phone was activated and removed it. Looking at my first bill a week later, I'm seeing the $9 TEP charge. If I shouldn't expect them to automatically credit me on the 2nd bill, I guess I can only call/chat to get the charge removed?

I'm currently a prepaid customer for T-Mobile on a fully-device unlocked LG G6 (H872)

Is this $15 a month or how does this plan work?

Just trying to save as much as possible and get Pokemon go and maps pretty much
