My free year is coming up. They just sent me an email regarding the new rates.
New line pricing after AutoPay is shown below:

Line 1: $60
Line 2: $40
Line 3: $30
Line 4: $30
Line 5: $30

I traded in an iphone for an iphone 8 and I am stuck through the end of the year making iphone payments for the trade.

Do I have any other options? I think it is way too expensive.
Port out of Sprint into Tmobile digital sim for $3.25. Then port back into Sprint for another free year. When you port out of sprint you'll get a bill for the remaining iphone 8 payments. at least with another free year of byod sprint you dont' have to worry about paying for service- https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=117049859&postcount=18122

I bought the virtual ebay SIM and activated it over the phone. I didn't recharge it. I called Sprint and they said the number is not active or ineligible. I wonder if I need to recharge it with the required minimum $10 in order to be eligible for this promotion? Please help.

I am new to this...I need 3 lines for friends/family coming over for few months from another country.

This is what I understand so far

1. Buy TMobile digital SIM from here https://www.ebay.com/itm/232842203107
2. No need to load any money into this account. Just call at 1-877-778-2107 and activate these 3 SIM/Numbers
3. Call Sprint at 866-782-8777 and I get all 3 lines ported over to Sprint with 1 year free

Is it correct....I am sorry going through all these pages only adds to confusion

When I have used T-Mobile sims for porting out in the past I have always had to recharge to be able to port out afterwards.

just canceled my Freedompop service and stated for them to release my IMEI number. I went to sprint website and says i need to go into a store. I called and they said my phone is not compatible. (I have moto g5 plus) do i need to wait longer for my IMEI number to be released? (going on no service atm... sad)
Just releasing it may not be enough since it was on a Sprint mvno. It needs to be released specifically for use on Sprint Postpaid. Did you buy it from FP originally? They require their phones be in use 6 months on FP before releasing them. If you can, check with FP if they can flip it from PLBL to SPCS so it can work on Sprint native. In any case, test the IMEI on say Tello's checker to see if it thinks it is released.

Yes as long as you have 3 sprint eligible phones with correct sprint sim cards during sprint sign up.

Go for it dude. I stupidly did the 2 free month MetroPCS deal 3 months ago instead of this because I REALLY didn't want sprint to pull my credit. After my 2 months of unlimited was over and I saw I hardly use my phone that much for texting/calling, I said I was tried of throwing away $30 a month.

Thankfully my iPhone se is one of those rare models that has all the bands for the big 4, so I had no problem using a phone that works on the sprint network. I have unlimited everything for a year at $3.66 a month. The service where I live in Florida is excellent. The only issues I have using sprint vs MetroPCS, Cricket is that on Sprint my cell signal is dead when i'm inside my home, but wi-fi calling fixes that issue. If I send a mms to someone on Android while I'm inside my home it won't send (iPhone users go through apple servers which don't require a data connection). The only other issue I have is during the early morning on the weekday, when i'm in my development going to work I'm on 3g, then when I get to exit and hit the road I'm on solid lte coverage. During the afternoons and on the weekend I'm always on lte when outside my house. I do miss VOLTE that MetroPCS had.

Thanks a ton PeacePeace

I have two Verizon Google Pixel and one Verizon Moto e4. Any idea what kind of SIM they need ? I plan to buy them off ebay ? Once we get the SIM card from Sprint...do they need to be in same device ? or they can be used in any device later ?

I'm a bit confused on the use someone else's SSN instruction – is this referring to basically setting up the account in someone else's name entirely and then just adding your number to it?

Or, is there some way to add the number back to original account with a different SSN (which now that I've typed seems unlikely, but thought I'd check).

Are people planning to make a new account (under new name/SSN)?

Could anyone confirm that refilling minimum $10 for the ebay virtual tmobile sim is required to make it eligible to port into Sprint?
I called Sprint twice with my activated Tmobile sim but they still said it is ineligible.
Also the Tmobile account number is 1+ my number right? And the pin is 6 digits code?

That's promising at least.

Besides FP, you can also contact LiterallyUnlimited and he can try flipping the ownership from PLBL to SPCS. You can search his posts in this thread to get the details but best contact him via Reddit.
