So this is all still up in the air then.

How can they have hotspot enabled if you can't even see your hotspot usage?

That makes sense why hotspot isn't working at all for me then.

Did they not have any hotspot allowance a few days ago? Or was it 10 GB and just changed to 500 MB yesterday?

I am trying to get a second year free with different ssn. Can I use the old sim to activate on new account or I have to buy new sim?

Thanks,

People like me who had 10 GB prior to July 13 from signing up earlier still have it.

Most people who signed up since July 13 seem to have no hotspot (except possibly one person).

The reference to a 500 MB hotspot only appears on the Sprint site so far. Nobody (except possibly one person) has reported seeing it in the wild. It could be an error or maybe it is coming soon or maybe you have to reset your carrier data to get the updated plan.

Someone who signed up after July 13 and therefore does not have the hotspot should chat with regular customer service (not TeleSales since this is not a Sales issue) and ask them to resolve the contradiction with the web site.

Thanks,
Always use the same sim. You will have to call in, not do it online, to do so.

Thank you. This will save me a lot of trouble since my plan ends in 2 days.

I signed up for 4 lines on July 10 and have the 10 gb Hotspot. I helped. Someone else on July 21 to sign up and no Hotspot. Wonder if I add a line will that line have Hotspot?

Yes you will have the 10GB hotspot on later-added lines since your PLAN was dated before July 13. It is in YOUR original plan provisions which have not changed. That has already been verified and confirmed.

I went through the website to check for eligibility and it said my phone was eligible, but the next screen take me to purchase a sim.

I already have a Sprint SIM, what should I do to avoid buy a new SIM?

Just purchased a used Essential phone from Amazon. Trying to activate it online and receiving "Sorry, but our records show you still owe Sprint for this device. Sign in to find this device on your account." Ting, Swapped, etc show it as clear.

Tried starting a Clickit Ticket but apparently the systems are down. Assume someone just swapped out their unpaid phone and I'm SOL?

I signed two phones on july 12 and 1 phone on july 14. They all have 10g hotspot. I received a call today from a sprint person told me that my plans dont come with hotspot. I explained to her that I signed my first phone on the 12, which included the hotspots. She told me she had to talk to her manager and told me to wait. I waited for 2 minutes and then she hung up on me. Kinda weird that they treat their customers like this. They should have all the history on my transactions and including the contract they read at the signed up. Why do they try to remove hotspot for people that signed before july 12.
