Thanks, I eventually just called back into the sales line and complained about it all and they were able to process it all over the phone, saying they weren't sure why anyone would have directed me to the store to show two forms of ID when it was a BOYD plan. SIM Should be arriving today, and account setup and port over should happen tonight. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the help!
Very good! I knew that it should not have been required for this plan and that any reconsideration by anyone would have brought that out. It was just an error on the part of the original rep. They make it frequently because this plan is different from most of the plans they deal with.

I would think Verizon iphone SE would be compatible unless it is a prepaid model or is locked to Verizon. edog11 may comment later. He may need the exact model number.

Verizon does not unlock immediately any more, you know.
Verizon and Sprint have different model numbers (A1662 vs A1723) for iPhone SE and they're not 100% compatible. It seems Sprint is not allowing non-Sprint SE.

Thanks.
I remember now that was the year Apple split the models up as
A1662 - AT&T, TMO, Verizon
A1723 - Sprint

In more recent years the split has been
A.... - AT&T and TMO (Intel Chip)
A.... - Verizon, Sprint, and Universal (Qualcomm chip)

That's as was announced by Apple.

You can now use A1662 on Sprint with reduced functionality - no band 41 which is Sprint's high speed band, which means no Magic Box also.

And edog11 explains that some replacement and other models need to be whitelisted in some cases.

The iphone se a1662 designed for Verizon,ATT,and T-Mobile works on(whitelisted) sprint but lacks band 41 so reduced data performance.
The A1723 designed for Sprint has band 41 but lacks Verizon's primary band 13 and ATT band 29.
I haven't heard of Verizon sim locking their phones(except prepaid) yet. There was article about it in Feb 2018 but don't think it has been implemented(pixel 2 Walmart thread no sim locked reports).

Look I know how to do it. I've done it many times before. Ported out to H20 wireless, Tmobile, etc. I'm going to try again, but the last times a tried I kept getting my calls disconnected. And tmobile reps kept wanting to check my credit. I wish there was a way to do it without calling. I wish I could port to Tmobile online.
u making my argument for me...

according to u....u know how to do it..u have done it in the past...should be trivial..

any ways...good luck....

and to be clear...folks wanting to port away ...do it ~ 1 week before a promotion end date or monthly end date...be safe....not sorry...

Thanks for clarifying.
That's good that Verizon has deferred their new locking policy.

anyone recently submitted an unlock request for the moto g6 play? I submitted one on July 30 at around 12PM PST and was told that my unlock would go through within 48 hours but it still seems to be locked. I called Sprint CS asking for an unlock again and they already noticed my submission for an unlock request that was made on the 30th. They told me to check again by the end of the day or tomorrow.
Today is day 4 of waiting for an unlock and it finally came through! I never got an email or text message for instructions on my unlock though. Currently using it on the FreedomPop LTE sim and receiving AT&T LTE on the Boost Moto G6 Play.

The online checker won't pass it: "Sorry, but this phone can't be activated with Sprint service. Try to re-enter your IMEI/MEID or try another phone." Maybe talk to a rep? I don't think my daughter cares much about slower speed. It's currently on FP LTE and will be renewed to 250mb a month in a couple of days.

It should be compatible if it is sim unlocked(yours must be if on FP). Several reports in this thread of it being used on. Sprint. You say it is replacement iPhone SE does model(settings/genera/about) begin with an M or N(replacement)? It may need added to sprint database.
Sometimes the Ting byod checker can push it into the database. You could try entering IMEI on Ting with Find my iPhone Off. If it passes ting for both cdma and gsm then should pass Sprint. If not may have to contact Sprint to add it.

You can Port to tmo online. It just requires reading skills.

Good day everyone. Quick question if you don't mind. So, I have an Iphone 5s which I verified via the IMEI number will work. I have a sprint SIM card. I also have a Google voice number. I was unable to set a PIN for the Google voice number(yes, I unlocked it). Next, I will be calling to activate this plan, I assume calling is the best way, not doing it via on line? Thank you again!

Always call (as per the Wiki qv) but you will have to resolve the Google Voice issue.

You can sign up without resolving it I guess by giving them a fake pin but the port will fail so I do not see much point in doing so.
