Thanks, unfortunately it shows that I get "DVD quality streaming" which I think means 480p, so looks like they didn't give me the things it stated on my confirmation page. Disappointing, not sure if contacting them will get me any help though...
Yes DVD Quality does mean 480p. You may be able to get the old terms if you have an email or screen shot and if you signed up before July 14 or maybe even later than that if you have some evidence. One person posted that Sprint would accept a screen shot.

Check back through all your "Welcome to Sprint" emails and see what they say too. There should be one that lists the terms.

Anyone had problems with getting through the credit check questions? I was just denied the port in and asked to try again after 60 days. I am sure I answered the questions correctly. Any help would be appreciated

You can skip the 60 days by calling the Sprint U.S.-based Credit Review Dept directly at 800-639-6116 and request reconsideration. They can give you a different quiz based on your credit history alone. These are different credit reps than the overseas reps you get through the general numbers and can exercise more discretion..

Hey Awesome, is there any way of knowing if my 45 Days are up and I am new customer? Like maybe should I ask Sprint BYOD Chat maybe about it or something? I ported out on Jun 25, and today is like 46th day. Should I maybe add buffer and try on porting in as new customer on Monday maybe? Thanks

There is no (proper) chat support for this offer so the only sure way is to call TeleSales at 866-782-8777 and ask them. In some cases they have to have the SSN manually deleted from old account if it did not get deleted automatically for some reason. You can be quite open about having had an account before as this is all completely standard and proper procedure within Sprint's rules.

I think if you can no longer sign onto your account online that might be a good indication.

Not sure if online account access would tell you, unless you couldn't log on.
I can log on to my old account(cancelled over year ago) and also log on to my current free account. They are same social but different user names/account numbers.
Although I did get asked extra questions(from credit) about old account when signing up for free account.

OK thanks, I deleted that sentence which was just a thought but evidently would not prove anything then.

Just making sure if this is correct. This free plan won't work with iPhone X $5 18 months lease right?

Correct, that deal requires a new line(not upgrades) eligible for flex lease. You can add a new line to free plan by porting in a number but the line is not eligible for flex lease for 4 months.

Yes there's no difference, all sprint and MVNOs SIM cards looks the same but Virgin Mobile is very adamant and persistent (for this promo) about purchasing a SIM card from them. Another con for this promo is that you cannot swap devices. If you lose your phone, you have to purchase one of their devices to continue service.
Wait, what? Are you saying that I can't swap out the initial phone I sign up for this Sprint offer with another BYOD later on? It is required to purchase a new device from Sprint?

Can I use a recent Note 5 as my device or just the ones listed
Quote from rp100 :
Yes you can but Only if its sprint model not from any other carrier..
How do you know that? The Note 5 isn't listed as an option in the list of Samsung devices. I tried the other day to use my old Sprint Note 3 and it was a no-go.

Sprint phones are not explicitly listed in the *partial* list of eligible devices.

However, any Sprint postpaid-origin phone can be activated (not Boost ones though usually) but sometimes it takes trying a few reps and in worst case swapping it on.

I have even activated Sprint flip phones that were so old they didn't even have a sim..

However most old Sprint devices have been on mvno's by now and so you will get a "you owe Sprint" error which can be fixed by first having the device pushed back to Postpaid by LiterallyUnlimited (see his posts)..
