iPhone 5S is too old to support Sprint's current main High Speed Band, band 41.

That band now carries the majority of Sprint data use.

The 5S does support two other LTE bands but for adequate performance by today's standards you need a newer phone that supports band 41.

Lol, I've been trying that for three days now and it's always a 2+ hour hold time! But, I guess, that's the only way to go.
You can do it online. That's what I did.

is the newer Moto G6 / Moto G6 plus are eligible for this promo? Don't see it on a wiki phone list. If so, I greatly appreciate if somebody can share the correct sim card model. Many thanks

Online self activation will need an activation code which has $3.33 initial value, or put money on a selected prepaid plan. How do you get around?

Pay as you go plan cost $3. That's 30 min/text for $3. Read the wiki to find T-Mobile sim numbers without actual sim. Then sign up for pay as you go. It took me less than 2 hrs to port out of sprint and back to sprint.

I'm not sure that it is any easier for me to look it up than it would be for you, but unlocked Moto G6 is eligible (see the Sprint site for this offer) and the sim is 416Q (prefixed as always by either of SIMOLW or SIMGLW - either will work) as per the usual sim lookup sites. (This does not cover the Moto G6 Play Play models which use a different sim by the way).

Do not use the lists of eligible phones on this thread as they are out of date.

I'm having problem. Did they fix it on your line?
I have short code difficulties from my msgs sent, but when I msg 51123 I get responses back from 9230 saying invalid number of digits. No way I'm going to involve Sprint in this either. I'll just lose sleep at night over all the free things I could have won over the course of the next year with the shortcodes, haha!

Yes, I still have trouble receiving FB short codes and other companies...
Can you both test hello/help to 200200 & 78896 and see if you get responses?
This 2nd time crawling back to Sprint, for whatever dumb reason other than the price, I had a horrid experience with H2O holding me hostage for 6 days. I didn't get my phones unlocked before jumping out limited my lines to JUST making calls. FCC needs to shut that practice of theirs down!

Sprint has a better blocking/unblocking system than anyone else.

You just need to text
ALLOW 200200
to destination
9999

and then you will be able to send to and receive from 200200 (for example).

Try it and let us know. People are shocked when they realize how easy this is.

Did that plenty o times to no change. I have at least 2 other lines with this same exact issue, something else stunted on Sprint's side this go-around besides hotspot being gone. EEK!

Let's take it one step at a time to see where it goes wrong.

What response to you get if you text ALLOW 200200 to destination 9999 ?
