Let's take it one step at a time to see where it gooes wrong.

What response to you get if you text ALLOW 200200 to destination 9999 ?
"SprintFreeMsg: Messages to and from "200200" are now allowed. You will still receive legal and account related messages."
I've factory reset my phone (that was to try to get hotspot to work) & did reset network settings of ##72786#. The other lines on the acct are un-reset, prior Sprint phones hopped to H2O, & now back to Sprint.
Now I just got my MSL code to try to hack APN settings to enable hotspot & possibly inadvertently fix short code while in there, but of course APN settings via ##DATA# doesn't just show actual settings due to it being a Sprint branded/locked phone.

.....
That's perfect and as expected!

Next, send a text to 200200 and you should receive a response from 200200 and you will have verified that you are all set!

You will have to do that over on each phone.

Not so much, no response for both favorite numbers 200200 & 78896. I'm curious about SIM swap to a new SIM, but that seems bizarre also.
I can get responses from 35270 & 51123 I'm now realizing is the consistent factor. Found a company shortcode directory & blasted to the big companies & most I get a response from so sorry about getting you riled up & the assistance is appreciated! There has to be like a "memory/block" stuck in the network as it's not a total shortcode outage now that I retried this occasionally msg'd number I forgot I msg'd over the weekend....
I've also tried doing these 2 problem fav numbers via Facebook Messenger (won't accept shortcodes), Textra SMS, turning off Android chat/wifi messaging to no change, & reinstalling Messages app to no change. Shortcode txting is broken good this Sprint go-around for a few problem peeps.

200200 is a radio contest. Everybody is supposed to send sms's to it at the same moment. Potentially thousands of sms's at the same time. It may just be overloaded at the radio station side and probably crashes and simply does not reply a lot of the time. Isn't that rather likely?

It's national iheart radio where they announce a shortcode keyword every few hours. Always gotten a instant response when they announce the keywords or if code isn't valid before this specific 2 numbers blockage.

Yeah it's interesting as to who might be blocking them or "accidentally" dropping them. It could be iheart's own provider (who is probably the cheapest mass-sms provider they could find) or intermediaries they use or Sprint or just equipment crashing under the load. You could try it on another carrier at the same time and compare. I'm sure all the carriers hate that kind of mass broadcast sms traffic but that would not entitle them to just dump it without communicating that they were doing so.

My plan was going to expire on 7/31/2018. I received the $50x3 a week before. Ported all my lines to MetroPcs on 7/30/2018. Got 4 free iPhone SE from Metropcs. Super slickdeals.

It's something old. You only get it if your lines were open last year in June. $100 for first year then $50 every year after.
