Have you setup account on Sprint.com? You can check status there. It will tell you it's completed or not. I don't think she would actually going to call you tomorrow.
Where do I go check the status?

It will use a Sprint sim, but is locked to Boost so it's not eligible. The only Boost phones found so far that work for the Sprint free offer are their Motorola G6 Play or possibly the Moto E4.
Thanks

I haven't setup my account yet. I was waiting for the transfer to complete before I setup the account. I was worry that Sprint might text a setup code to my new account and I won't be able to check it.

Thanks for the tips! I called this afternoon and got the BYOD 1-year free service activated. Took about 25 minutes. I was able to use my existing Sprint SIM, no need to buy a new one. Much better than the online sign-up process. I ported a GV number, waited 1 hour and nothing so I called the porting dept and they did it right away. Then the service activated. At first the online account management was throwing weird errors but when it finally synced after about 2 hours after activation I was able to remove the Protection Plan right there without calling. I'm all set through 9/30/2019! Applause

Unlimited - Bring Your Phone
Unlimited Talk, Text and Data.
$5/line/mo up to 5 lines. (up to $60/line value free with AutoPay until 9/30/19)
Requires $5 per line/per month AutoPay discount.
Savings until 9/30/19; then $60/mo. for line 1, $40/mo. for line 2 and $20/mo./line for lines 3-5 with AutoPay
DVD-quality streaming

Removed: Device protection:Total Equipment Protection Plus - $13.00/mo**
Excellent! Good to know that TEP removal shows up in plan details. You did everything right by reading the wiki. The service in the Chicago area is excellent. Hoping it works out for you as well.

You should definitely call the porting dept. as lou2004 suggested. I had all kinds of trouble trying to port a FP (ATT) number even after giving all the correct info. After 1 week i gave up and cancelled the port and went a different route.

Horrible coverage and no VoLTE. My wife had to give up the year because the service was soooooo bad. Lost service on major interstates through a big city? GPS stop working when a call came in? Dueces ✌️.

Just think to yourself, why would they be giving out a free year? And this isn't a limited promotion. It's been going on for a loooooooooooooong time.

During calls i have never had GPS disabled. Turn by turn directions come through right on top of the callers voice. Maybe it was the phone? And volte is coming very soon.

If anyone gets poor reception with Sprint, enable WiFi calling (this also lets you send/receive texts over WiFi. However, not MMS).
I've never been able to get SMS text messages over wifi. This is why they gave me a microcell, which did pass SMS to my sprint phones.

Thanks for the reply. The sprint lady said she will call back tomorrow to help setup my online account. I was amazed for the excellent service. It took 28 minutes to sign up this service.
They're always as helpful as possible with me too. Really have to ignore the crybaby posts and just do it. Nicely done
