Do you think I didn't read the wiki? Perhaps instead of saying read the wiki over and over you could actually help other people? Instead you would would troll people and say read the wiki to multiple responses rather than help people.

It seems like you have a lot of free time on your hands, maybe you could actually help people instead of being rude.

I'll stop 'feeding the troll', thanks for your 'help'.

I guess Verizon doesn't like this too much eh?

I can't seem to order online because it looks like you need to buy the sim, when I have already bought a sim for Sprint, anyway around that?

Thanks
Try 866-782-8777 again. You can supply your own sim when you call.

Just went through the process of porting two lines from verizon today. the process takes sooooo long on the phone to activate the SIM and transfer the number....

The second rep gave me a very long speech about the fact that if my phone dies or is stolen during the first 120 days, a new phone can NOT be put back on the same plan/line, unless the insurance coverage is on the plan. Is this a new rule, BS?? Can't see the terms anywhere so far.....
It is just a sales pitch that is now truer now than the hundred other times it has been quoted by people like you starting from the beginning. Your exact post has been duplicated numerous times in this thread from the start. Cancel the insurance with Billing chat if you took it and stop listening to sales people.

Haven't kept up with this and don't want read a lot of pages. Has anyone heard when the free plan offer will end. I want to add my new Moto Z2 and cancel the other one I have so I want to wait as long as possible. My first year ends in 3 months so I would rather wait a couple of months. I guess porting from google voice still works.
Same answer as always and as in the wiki. Sprint will not announce the end of the promotion ahead of time by more that a few days if at all. They would be idiots to do so. Yes there have been numerous reports that it was ending on various supposed dates, including from reps and Sprint corporate insiders posting here, and they have all proved wrong.

You are probably mis-dialing. .Nobody else has had a problem and we have had people from Verizon activating today.

If not, call the Verizon operator for assistance.

Either you heard incorrectly, or they stated that part incorrectly. The rule is, you cannot upgrade your phone through Sprint or switch to a Sprint phone on flex-lease in the first 120 days. If you lose or break your phone and need to replace it, you can buy new one outright at full retail price from Sprint or bring in your own Sprint compatible phone and swap it out at any time.

This poster had a different experience. They were not getting disconnected (which can always happen). They were getting a message that service had been disconnected. That is a completely different thing..

I didn't hear incorrectly, I cna assure you of that, I had the rep repeat the same thing over and over again because I was very suspicious of the claim, which was not on the wiki or offers etc.... and which was not given to me with another rep in the morning during the first phone port.

So either it is a big manufactured lie (which she felt comfortable repeating several time clearly), or Sprint changed the term, which they can do pretty much anytime BTW and have done for this offer.

I am wondering at this point where all the term of the offer can be found for the record, I would like to pdf it....

not familiar with sprint since I haven't been with them for more than a decade.

Don't waste your time. We have been over this a hundred times.

Oh ok let's waste everybody's time some more:

What happens if I lose or break my own phone and don't have replacement insurance?
If the phone you bring to Sprint through the Unlimited - Bring Your Phone promotion is lost or breaks, you have options that allow you to keep your first year of free service:
You can purchase a Sprint phone at full manufacturer's retail price, or
Swap out a different eligible phone although a new Sprint SIM may be required
We recommend you sign up for our Total Equipment Protection service to protect your phone. You can add it by calling *2 or through sprint.com/chat within 30 days of activating. Be prepared to provide the IMEI to confirm your phone is eligible.

Question:

If my Sprint free unlimited plan is going to expire, what do I have to do?

(1). do I need to call Sprint cs to explicitly show that I do NOT want to continue using Sprint paid whatever plan?

(2). do I need to call Sprint to release my phone's IMEI and/or sim card ICCID?

(3). To keep my number, do I need to port my number to other carriers immediately, or any grace period to keep number without a service?

(4). Can I terminate Sprint one year free unlimited plan early, like just half a year?

TIA

Porting out your numbers will kill it at any moment in time, starting early or any time, with no further billing.

You do need to port out to keep your numbers.
