Yeah, that's the message I was referring to. Somewhere it explains that it means Google has done all it needs/can do. So now it's up to sprint. I didn't want to wait so I called the port Dept.
Guess all I can do is wait and call tomorrow morning if it's still not activated.

I get you. Had the same trepidation. So far so good though. I won't say to definitely do it because who knows if they would alter your plan later. I did though and many others in the other threads

free plan still exists? why people go to kickstart plan?
It's advertised. This one is not. People just don't know or think there's a catch

I did read the wiki but I was wondering if I do upgrade at sprint.com by paying full price ( Z2 force) within the first 4 months, anything happens to my free plan?
You would be buying the Z2 Force outright at its current full retail price. The 120 day rule would not apply because this is a flat out purchase and not an upgrade made in payments to Sprint or a Sprint flex lease.

I thought the same but on the summary, it keeps saying the word "Upgrade" and Free one year plan T&C just says If I upgrade within the first 120 days, I will lose the plan.
I hate Sprint CS. I called different reps and got different answers.

Yes, but this would not be an "upgrade" through Sprint. You are buying the phone at current retail price without a payment plan. If you needed to replace your phone because it was damaged or lost, the rules say you can bring in your own Sprint compatible phone bought elsewhere or buy one from Sprint at full retail price and change it out on your account at any time without penalty or change in plan.

You can check on Sprint or Ting's IMEI checker:

Thx for your reply. My iPhone 6 is in the manufacture setting now, so the first screen is the 'hello' page. So I can't see the IMEI number etc in order to use the Sprint checker. Should I start setting up the iPhone (using Apple ID etc) in order to see the IMEI number, or is there another way to check if it's 'unlocked' from ATT?

Also, my naive question is: my iPhone 6 is in manufacture setting, does that automatically mean that it's "unlocked" from the previous carrier ATT?

Yes, you should set up as a new phone then you can check imei. You only know if it's unlocked if you try different sims. New hello screen only tell you the phone has been reset to factory settings. You can reset a phone with a bad imei.

Thx so much for your reply. So once I set up the phone, I should see the IMEI number. Then what do I do at that point? The phone still has the same SIM card in it while it was on ATT. Do I need to take it out and put another SIM card in it first, before I use the checker with the IMEI number?

Dial *#06# to get the imei. The imei has nothing to do with the SIM. The imei is for the phone. Check the imei on sprint.

The IMEI is also on the lower back of phone. Run it through sprint checker. If you don't have another sim you can also order GSX report for a $1 verify unlock status.

I did read the wiki first (anything related to GV and activation) before asking and it's not answering the questions. Otherwise, I wouldn't be asking.
If you truly did read it you would have seen this:

PORT STATUS AND COMPLETION INFO:
Google Voice seemed stuck in porting limbo for over a day. Found this link which gave status and aid to call in. 5min later its ported and activated ~outofstock

I check the IMEI of a phone not on the list in the OP using the link in the OP and it said that it's eligible

does it mean I can use it or it's false positive?
It will work. The list says clearly it is just partial.

Do you realize you left the model number out of your post? Obviously we need to know that to say better.

When folks are porting multiple lines from Sprint to T-mobile digital SIMs, are they doing it in one shot? Or only doing it one line at a time? The wait time for t-mobile cust rep is more than an hour. Thx
Try this https://prepaid.t-mobile.com/prep...own-device
Select pay as you go. Cost:$3 plus tax

I/we need some data points as to how quickly ports go through using this method. Any help would be appreciated. Will consider adding this to the wiki.
