Wish they would spend the time giving away free service on trying to actually improve their network instead. Service in Omaha Ne is deplorable.

Cheap number to port to Sprint or a place holder for your Sprint number for a second year.

it's ok if you want a new number. Porting into Freedompop is not free.

since you don't want free service, ergo you don't want Sprint, I don't understand why you care how good their coverage is ?

btw, how's Marlin Perkins ?

I think online application is easier to deal with once your credit check is approved.
I ported two lines, and it was almost automatic.
You need to have correct porting information. Then everything was automatic.
The most important thing was correct phone number to port in ( They can not change the phone number itself, but should cancel and resubmit with correct number by phone call)
You can modify or correct other info later after receiving porting in error since you can only provide one porting in information like account/pin even if you are porting in multiple lines.
The system seams to put same info for all port in numbers. Then the number with correct info will be ported in while others will give porting in error asking more info.
You can change them online.
They may fix process for multiple lines, but that was my experience.

One thing, annoying thing was create online account.
Though, you have to pay $10 +sim charge for convenience.

Don't forget email address, & tel number you use for application.

LTE Calling Beta is already on many high end Sprint Android phones (Apple did not play along with the beta) and full VoLTE soft rollout starts next month:

This is BYOD, most likely it will not work on your phone. I have Pixel 2XL, and WIFI calling did not work on this phone, I will not count on VOLTE will work in the future. I was shocked when I find this out at the beginning.
just an fyi, Calling Plus works on the Sprint Moto Z2 Force that's been a hot item lately, after it's upgraded to Oreo. In Knoxville,TN.

Because I have sprint lol. About to drop it though, even free its not worth it. Half my city has "low signal" zones they basically told me to shove it when i call to complain.

And, since it is Sprint branded, I am sure all the other Sprint features work such as Wifi Calling, Visual VoiceMail and HPUE signal boost for extended coverage area.

And full VoLTE will likely work when released.

And it will have not only all the Sprint bands but also all TMO, AT&T & VZW bands that can be used for roaming.

In my opinion people should try to buy Sprint-branded phones like this when feasible for best features. Having these can make an enormous improvement in usability. And Sprint will unlock them in 50 days.

I checked the sleep settings and nothing there---It's pretty easy to set the do not disturb but that wasn't the case---not using any type of other apps--battery saver not on.

This is so hard to figure out because it seems to be working fine now--but I called it 3 times yesterday and would not ring--once it did finally ring then it continued to work--so there doesn't seem to be a pattern---no sleep setting for weekends either.

I will have to just monitor it and see what happens or let Motorola figure it out. Good luck on that deal.

Thought it might have something to do with wifi calling but doesn't seem to be that either--so I have to assume that the phone goes to sleep and then no calls come in---how long for the phone to go to sleep---I don't know---screen goes to sleep in 30 seconds but it's not that because it will work when no screen is active. Guess it's that deep sleep nap that does it. I haven't turned it on to reset it either.

So hard to figure out when it's working now but keep the suggestions coming--maybe I will figure it out.

Might have to get this phone unlocked and then switch phone numbers on my sprint account. This is the last phone I purchased and this explains why it rings all the time on certain days and then nothing for days --but most of the calls were solicitors anyways so it didn't bother me until I started missing the important calls.

Thanks for your suggestions!! Anymore? Anyone??
So did you toggle off WiFi calling ? I would turn it off and continue testing.
We had some strange call errors specific to G6 Play on WiFi calling. Seems ok now.
Good luck

If you've done things correctly your account info should read:

Unlimited - Bring Your Phone

Unlimited Talk, Text, and Data.

$5/line/mo up to 5 lines. (Free with AutoPay until 9/30/18)

10GB Mobile Hotspot.

International Text from the US. (Plan FAQ says Sprint Global Roaming included, so also in many other countries: https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/se...aming.html)

Requires $5 per line/per month AutoPay discount.

Savings until 9/30/18; then $60/mo. for line 1, $40/mo. for line 2 and $30/mo./line for lines 3-5 with AutoPay

I read through the wiki a few times and im still confused about the fees. Mainly about the cost of this service after September 2018, is it 60$ after September 2018 for those who sign on before the date or is this price for those who missed the deal?

I'm very poor and don't want to get wrecked by any hidden fees

that date was applicable at the time it was posted. The deal has been revised several times since by Sprint.

For example, this is from my plan details..

"($60/line value free with AutoPay until 04/30/19)"

The current date if you signed up now may be Sept. 2019 I think.

You are quoting outdated terms from somewhere.
Current terms for people subscribing now have an end date of 9/30/2019 and you just port out by that date to avoid the switch to paid. September 2019, not September 2018.

Total cost is usually a bit under $5 per month per line all taxes included. There is no hotspot included any more, by the way.

Be sure to ask for the one-year free byod plan when calling, and remind them of that later in the call. If they add insurance, cancel it right after.

I got the service activated on Moto G5 Plus just a few days ago. All good, but I am seeing that the battery drains really fast now. It used to easily last over 24 hours on T-Mobile (previous carrier), and now it is down to 6 to 8 hours! Any idea what could cause it?

In settings tap 'battery'. See what is draining. Check it when the battery level is near 0. Also turn on battery optimization.
