I got a call from a rep that there is a promotion for getting an ipad from sprint for $4.xx per month for 24 months ($10 shipping fee). he said it is not a lease and I get to own it after 24 months. I think it is a good deal but wanted to make sure if anyone else got this. any thoughts?

Is there a service fee for data on top of that? Or just $5/month? Do you have to have any other lines of service besides that?

~$130 for an iPad seems like a nice deal. Especially an LTE enabled one.

it is $5/month (as an add-on line to my existing account). I'm just thinking that he misspoke that it is not a lease, but if others have gotten the offer than I'll jump in. thanks.

https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/ta...-ipad.html

iPad 6th Gen 32GB $49.99 after $50 via Prepaid Mastercard® (mailed after 60 days in good standing) and $15/monthly credit applied within 2 bills. Pay $4.17/mo. for 24 months. If you cancel early, remaining balance due. Taxes due at sale.

Not 100% sure, but I think you will need $25/month also with it, for unlimited iPad Plan http://newsroom.sprint.com/start-...sprint.htm

I never did offers like credit, but I heard those are bad promotions. And you have to pay first and then get credit back, so like $20/month (Device EIP/month) + $25/month for iPad and $15 Credit will make it $30/month I think? I am not 100% sure, so I apoligize

But I think, if you wanted to pay off early, it will cost you $20*24 = $480 cause credits are issued only when you active service and paying monthly?

Recently moved from AT&T to sprint to try one year free but i'm feeling bad for making the decision
most of the time i get only 3G and if i get LTE signal the speed test only gives 0.54 mbps DL and 0.85 UL speed, this is way too low for LTE
I'm using Iphone 6
anyone having the same issue / any solution for this
I did opened ticket with sprint but nothing moving forward

thanks, i did complete reset of the phone including network settings , moved from tower to tower (more than 11 miles) still the same problem
While my other connections (AT&T , metro pcs ) shows atlesat 30 mbps DL constantly

Is this because we got this service free for one year, so they are deprioritize us with regular plan customers ?

If you have a local Sprint store you may want to stop in and inquire. They are restructuring the network in preparation for VoLTE, but tower work is usually done over night. It's not because it's free. Speeds here in Chicagoland are generally good.

My iPhone SE supports Sprint Band 41, so Sprint gave me Magic Box in October 2017 even though I was on free year plan. (I was getting 37+ Mbps, but I wanted to try Magic Box, so I returned it to store later)

Why are you wasting their time with your nonsense? It is a well known fact for years and Verizon used to the the same. I think T-Mobile as well at some point. Even if you didn't do your research beforehand, when you encountered this issue a simple search online should give you the relevant information. What's the point of calling support and belittle them for something they can do nothing about?
I'm an AT&T customer since 2011, and haven't used any other service.
I had other things in that chat with my phone/line and had a conversation with them.
I didn't ping them just for this issue.
