Come to the Atlanta area they give them out like free candy at a dentist office
The apple store in georgia will catch on eventually. If they are giving it out like free candy at dentist office that means its hard because dentist don't give sugar to patients. Smilie

Have gone to mutiple apple stores for sim cards, never a problem here. A friend forgot to stop by so he went to a Sprint corporate store in North Atlanta Friday and boom, it was free. Smile and be nice, at least it works here

I had the worst experience. I got 4 different people on phone, they were all so unprofessional. One simply refused to give me the right plan because it seemed too good to be true to her. She called metropcs and had me talk to metro people to verify my account number and pin while I told her the right pin & account info in first place, she stayed quite while I had to speak. Kept me on hold multiple times and call lasted for over 90 minutes. In the end randomly phone got disconnected. She told me multiple times she's thinks the deal has expired. She asked me why you want to leave metropcs, then she stressed on the part oh because you want free year of service. I was like damn why you care, Sprint is giving a good deal why you are jealous.

Today I wasted about 2 and half hours dealing with these damn idiots. 2nd person straight up hung up on me while I was explaining what had happened during my initial call. Just simply unprofessional.

Fouth person John was the best. He got everything setup from scratch without wasting another second of my time. I was up and running in less than 20 minutes. However service took good 45 minutes to fully work. First five minutes it seemed like nothing is going to work ( had to take out Metropcs sim), then finally once I connected to WiFi I got the Network signal. I was on 3G for about half an hour and mostly no network. Restart my phone multiple times. But finally it started to work.

Called 866-782-8777 and the agent told me everything has to be done online. Including Activation, but I don't need a Sprint SIM card, I already have two.

Any advice?
Keep calling until you find the right person.

I ordered my sim online first but ended up calling the 1800 number and cancelled the online order. Picked up a cheap boost Mobile SIM from Best buy. So while I was ordering the sim I didn't see an option to activate anything. I'm not sure where you can see activate.

Did you try this:

FreedomPop Porting Instructions
Your FreedomPop account number is the 10-digit phone number. To find your FreedomPop PIN, go to: https://my.freedompop.com – Log in & click the (3 stacked horizontal lines) menu icon at the top left. Choose "Settings", then choose, "Port Out Info". You can also go to:

https://my.freedompop.com/settings/port-out-info instead.

However I realize this may not work in some cases.
Yes. in my non-portable acct, the account and pin showed up and I managed to use it to sprint representative, but
in my recently re-activiated account, there is no info. so cant figure out how the PIN to port my phone from san francisco.

i sent a ticket to freedompop.

assume i can port the number, can i get a new number on freedompop (since it doesnt cost money fee on the acct).
thanks

I'm starting to wonder where these calls are being routed tonight. A live rep should be answering the call. After telling them you would like to sign up for the BYOD free plan, my next question would be: Are you familiar with that? Hang up and try again if they are not.

Sorry. Didnt realize that was your earlier post. Should not have been that difficult. Some of those reps are pitiful

I activated a Moto E4, ported in from FreedomPop, successfully. Use SIM Part# SIMOLW416Q or SIMGLW416Q. The 506C "universal SIM" does not work in the Moto E4.

I got my SIM from Twigby.com .... $2.99.

I have Motorola E4 - Verizon prepaid I bought at BestBuy - currently on FeedomPop's free service (GSM, on AT&T's network)

I tried entering my IMEI and my FreedomPop phone number but i get:
"
Sorry, but this device can't be activated with Sprint service. Try another device, or Shop for a new device.
"
