Let me be the first to Congratulate hodaddy on being recognized as a Pro. There is a handful of folks here that have taught me everything I know about providers, plans, phones, etc. Thank you for helping us!
I guess i'm not seeing what you're seeing. Just a teacher, but thanks anyway. I only deserve a miniscule amount of praise here. The master of this thread would be 'comintel', with his extensive knowledge of cell phones, the business practices and the uncanny ability to see every question gets answered in depth so everyone can take away a little piece of knowledge and understanding from his replies. Many others before me like Desi (biggest wiki contributer) and edog (apple expertise) , just to name a few, deserve a lot of credit in this thread as well. I think for all of us, our goal is to help others share in this incredible offer Sprint has given us. Sad to know it could be ending soon. I'm hoping Sprint isn't playing a dirty trick on us, but the youtube video [youtube.com] is pretty convincing. Time to turn our focus on Black Friday! Peace everyone.

I signed up to the plan with no issues thanks to the detailed wiki..I had everything ready to give the sprint representative.. I ported my number from TMobile and within 15 minutes my service was up and running..they guy didn't even push for the protection plan.

But now I have a couple of issues..the first is no wifi calling.. and at my house so far I only had 3g coverage and sometimes I see the r for roaming..also no visual voicemail.. I talked to a few representative..some said I just have to enable the wifi calling from my phone..but ever since switching to Sprint that option is gone.. then the technician said that Sprint doesn't allow it on my phone..I have a pixel 2 xl..so I guess it sucks for me..I'll be trying the service for a couple of weeks but if the coverage stay the same in the area where I usually am, I guess I'll be cancelling.. free is awesome .but worthless if it can't be used..

I have a couple of Moto G4's on this plan. I bought a couple of G6 Play's (Walmart) and was wondering if it is best to swap them by calling the number in the Wiki? I will also need to add a line (we have 4 and were approved for 5).

I would just use support chat to swap the phones. Don't tell them they're Boost phones.

Look at the data at wiki. They are good samples about how sprint works.
Many of the samples have worse data speed than 3G of other networks.
Looks like you are at rural area.

Boost phone may not be swappable unless sprint put it on whitelist.

These Boost Moto G6 Play phones have been allowed on Sprint for some time. The key is to not tell them they're Boost phones. Unless something has changed in the past few weeks, they should be able to be activated. I'm typing this on a Boost G6 Play in the last month of my free year.

did not know. Before chat, you can try for your self at dashboard using swap device.
That way, you can know if it is still allowed beforehand.

I've had this plan for 11 months now, used all along the west coast. I wouldn't say that the coverage is terrible, but coming from Verizon coverage, it's a big difference. I can't tell you how many calls I drop with a great signal. Used on iphone 6 and iphone 8 plus. Same results.

In major cities, it's fine for the most part. Outside of major cities... not at all.

That sucks. It would suck even more if you left Tmo where you might had promos.

Just fyi Pixel's don't have wifi calling on AT&T either,

Google thinks its phones are so great it does not bother getting them fully qualified for all features with all major carriers like Samsung does. You have a phone that is best for Verizon and TMo.

Anyone had luck activating LG Volt 2 from Boost mobile for 1 year free promo?

I've DM'ed LiterallyUnlimited on reddit for the flag flip from PLBL to SPCS on my device. Will be eager to see the response.

So, I called the number provided last night after the credit check screen telling me "additional processing was needed. After a few prompts I was put on hold for 5 minutes while a 5 second advertisement for a Sprint Galaxy Note 9 repeated over and over.

Eventually an attendant picks up. After telling the person who picked up why I called, they informed me I was in the wrong department and transferred me to the "correct" department.

Another 5-minute hold while the ad plays over and over

2nd person picks up. Also tells me I'm also in the wrong department and gives me a different phone # to call: 800-777-4681. Doesn't offer to transfer me.

I call the number provided. 3rd person picks up and after I tell her what's going on I'm put back on hold. This time there are a pleasant variety of ads rotating. During this time the attendant picks up, asks a few questions, and puts me back on hold 3 times. The process has taken 30 minutes at this point.

Upon request I read her the IMEI from my device and she says "Ok, we need to send you out a SIM card. Yes, please. Another hold. Now takes all of my info down that I previously entered last night. Another hold while she "reaches out to her credit team". 45 minutes in.

10 minutes later I find out I need to go to a Sprint store and provide 2 kinds of ID for the credit check. The closest store is 25 miles away. Wish they just told me that online!

I'll update this with any new info!
