In other Sprint news: Sprint's new Unlimited Premium plan is one of the best deals you're going to see this year.

Especially if you live near a tower.
There are so many unlimited plans from Sprint, my head is spinning. I am going to wait for the best of the best ultimate unlimited plan or maybe infinity plan before I bite Stick Out Tongue

Although there is an Upper limit: 480p on YouTube quality setting, I could chose 1080p to play. Have not yet noticed any difference on my tiny screen, would it result any additional charge or what?

These Boost Moto G6 Play phones have been allowed on Sprint for some time. The key is to not tell them they're Boost phones. Unless something has changed in the past few weeks, they should be able to be activated. I'm typing this on a Boost G6 Play in the last month of my free year.
Yessir! I have 3 lines right now: 2 Moto G5 and 1 G6 Play. As said above, the trick is to just give them the IMEI and say its a Moto. Thats it.

Quote from gopenhill :
did not know. Before chat, you can try for your self at dashboard using swap device.
That way, you can know if it is still allowed beforehand.
Yeah, I'll try the dash first this weekend when I get time, then I'll report back here.

If I can swap the devices myself and just call to add the other 2 lines, I will be happy.

They said i need to go to store and show my ID, get an account and PIN and call back. When i went to store they don't have anything like credit approval process. if they created an account, that will not be eligible for this promotion ( it will be a different type of account). I called the 8777 number and asked the store representative to talk. after a while the promotion line representative tells me he is sorry he cant do anything.

For that phone,

https://support.apple.com/kb/sp706?locale=en_US

Note no band 41 on that model.

Actually that is the main model of that age or newer that gives problems over and over because it sort of half works. Newer iPhones either do not work at all on Sprint (AT&T and TMO models) or have all needed bands. (They split the models into two branches starting in later models). Others here can probably add more detail later.

Apple phones are still not going to perform nearly as well as say Samsung's on band 41 because they still do not have HPUE signal boost yet. Even the Boost Moto G6 play has that. Hopefully it will finally be in the new iPhone model announced on Sept. 14.
Thanks, this is really helpful

the moto g6 play is about $80 with coupon directly from Boost https://www.boostmobile.com/phone...-play.html but does it need to be unlocked first?

T-Mobile port out/port in trick might be dead via the virtual sim method. Has anyone been successful in the last 24 hours. I did two lines on Thursday, but it sounds like their system has changed as they are now having weird issues activating my virtual sim. I've spent 3 30 minute calls and the last rep got to a point where she wanted me to add a balance to the account before activating.

Can anyone confirm this? TIA.
