I'm trying to port a number from Maine and Sprint is telling me they can't port it because the location where it originated has no Sprint coverage.

Is there any work around?
Not with that number.

Portability of a number goes by the ORIGINAL issuing carrier (not the current one) so porting it to a different carrier would not make it any more portable into Sprint.

Was really enjoying my Z2 on the free UNL plan til today.
Suddenly this morning, the mute button appears to be stuck on. No one can hear me unless I put it on speaker. The mic appears to work on other apps, ie Google maps Waze.
Spent several hours with Sprint phone folks today. Has been escalated.Waiting for call back.
Has anyone experienced this?

Quick question... I checked the IMEI on the iPhone 5C that I have a few weeks ago. It showed that it would work for this offer. Today I checked again just to make sure and it says that it is not eligible for this offer.

I thought this was an unlocked Verizon phone, but it may be a TMobile phone. Does that really matter? I finally was able to get a sim card from the Apple store and was about to call and get this set up.

Contact H2O and they said the number needs to be active for 5-7 days.
Where exactly did you first get the H2O SIMs ?

You cannot just go to the H2O website and port; that wont work well

I just checked my phone and it says that it will work on Sprint but it is not eligible for this promo. So, if I set the phone up on an eligible Iphone 6 can I just put the sim into the 5C once the set up is complete like you would any other sim?

It is certainly in the current offer.
Actually it has never been excluded from any offer Sprint postpaid has made so it is never even mentioned. It is taken for granted.

Of course this Wifi Calling is a Sprint proprietary version available only on phones licensed by Sprint. Many Moto and other phones are NOT compatible (though some of each brand are).
I've got WiFi calling on my iPhone a1661. It was initially activated with Verizon.

Oh, I meant that WiFi calling should be included under the heading "latest update"

My number ported from Red Pocket today with no problem. However my phone refused to activate. After 1.5 hours on the phone with Sprint, they were finally able to figure it out. Just did a speed test and got 760kbps/381kbps. LOL This would not work if it was my main phone line, but it's a backup for the kids. No wonder this service is free (or close to it).

I bought them from amazon for 1 cent maybe a year ago. number ported right over from sprint and i was even able to get my account and pin without giving the last 3 calls. however, it's turned into a mess anyway.

Sprint is really bad. Their stores, their service, their reps. Pretty much the worst company in the town but we all forget that because of the free year Smilie I've been with sprint 12 years and I don't think I paid them $1all those years!
I was tricking and cheating them. Cancel their service, come back, cancel again, change the SSN, all kind of sh...t.I even sued them one time where they had settle over 10 thousand dollars. The reason I'm saying this about Sprint is because they have bad service and they're also cheap or free so You have to know how to deal with sprint.

I'm not encouraging anyone to do the way I do but I'm just mentioning that sprint is really bad and you shouldn't complain about their stores.
free service + free $10,000. Looks like sprint is too generous.

It is a new account with a new account number.

But you can leave it to the rep to decide. As long as he/she gives you the full year plus, you do not care. I have had a rep say they sometimes do it either way.
Thanks.
