So, even though my phone shows eligible to be used on Sprint and shows ineligible on the promo, it won't work? UUUUGGGGG!!!! I have an iPhone 5C here that is (verified) a Verizon phone. However, it is showing ineligible for this promo, but eligible to be used on Sprint... why?

I just checked my phone and it says that it will work on Sprint but it is not eligible for this promo. So, if I set the phone up on an eligible Iphone 6 can I just put the sim into the 5C once the set up is complete like you would any other sim?
Won't work for two reasons:

1) Sprint ties the IMEI of the phone to the specific SIM, so merely swapping the sim into a new phone won't work. They have to approve the match to the new phone.

2) I do not believe the Verizon iPhone 5c has the proper antennas for Sprint. At least not according to this: https://www.whistleout.com/CellPh...h-carriers

I'm surprised Sprint even said the 5c would work, then. (I could be wrong about this, though).

The A1532 IPhone 5c intended for Verizon is allowed but is missing band 26,41 for lte, so will have reduced data performance. Even the A1456 that was sold by and intended for Sprint is missing band 41.
Some of those compatibility charts were pre byod on Verizon and Sprint. Pre byod, only devices sold by sprint were allowed even if they were compatible. I'm surprised the 5C is allowed since missing 2 out of 3 LTE bands but it is.

Thanks for the response. So, A1532 will work? That is the phone I have but it is telling me that it is not eligible. I also have an iPhone 6 that is showing ineligible. Maybe it's a glitch?

It could be the telephone number you're using or has a PLBL flag for being on a sprint mvno previously.
What exactly does it say here.

Both of the phones say that I can use them. So, it has something to do with the phone number? That isn't a problem because I will be getting a Tmobile digital sim with a new number. Thank you!

Can I port to my old Tmobile sim's instead of buying new ones from ebay to hop back? Is there a difference? Will the tmobile rep ask why I'm not purchasing service while porting the phone numbers over?

Thank you so much!! That worked. It's kind of weird because the number I was using is a number I have had on T-mobile for over 10 years and it was never on Sprint. Hummmm...

I appreciate your help with this. I added some reps. Smilie

I've got WiFi calling on my iPhone a1661. It was initially activated with Verizon.
I'm not following you on either comment. I never said Wfi Calling would not work on iPhones from Verizon. Of course it does. I said it would not work on many Motos and SOME other phones. Apple is a special case.

There is nothing new on Wifi Calling at all as far as I can see other than that a few people had problems which were user errors in most cases as far as I can see. As far as I know nobody is having problems still. Or are they?
