You'll have to find a work around for that. I have no idea how quickly porting in and out of NB will take. Lets ask a previous poster!
Maybe you can help us out. How quickly does NB port. What was your experience?
Any word? Thanks

I have been on hold with T-Mobile Customer Care 1-877-778-2107 for 1h36m and counting. They are swamped. Is that Sunday traffic / understaffing issue? How were you able to do it in 5-10 minutes?

I worry that I get T-mobile porting done COB and then Sprint is shut down for the evening. Should I just wait till Monday to do this?
Lol that sucks. I did mine on a Tuesday evening.

Just now connected with someone. Have initiated the porting to T-mobile. He said can take up to 24 hours. Will hope for better turnaround than that

They told me the same. It'll get done in 5-10 mins. Wait 20 mins to be on the safe side and then port back over

All of that may be true, but this deal was originally supposed to end over a year ago. Since then it "was supposed to end soon" many times and is currently still going. Sprint desperately needs customers to compete with the other guys hence why you see almost all of the best phone deals from sprint. At this point I think they are doing the "ending soon" thing to hurry more and more customers to sign up as customers are likely to impulse sign up to try the deal and they don't care if you use the service they just need the numbers and stats to give to investors. While I believe this deal will eventually end at this point I'd say it will likely continue for awhile as this is the only deal that has brought in massive amounts of new customers for sprint. Sprint needs this deal as much as many other people need this deal.
Yes and... What comintel said. It could end at any time

It's been 45mins and my phone still works on Virgin Mobile. Will continue to wait...how do you tell if porting has occurred successfully?

No one has mentioned, lately, using ATT Prepaid to do the roundtrip port out of Sprint, to ATT Prepaid, and then back to Sprint. So let me remind ya'll.

ATT Prepaid SIM is $0.99 direct from ATT with free overnight or next day shipping. Costs $1 to activate the ATT SIM, get your ATT port out information from the ATT Port department during that port from Sprint process (not from the ATT Activation people, they will charge you $10), and then port back into Sprint. $2 total for the round trip.

I ported all 5 of my lines out of my old Sprint BYOD using this method, and back into my wife's new Sprint BYOD account.

A bit cheaper than the T-Mobile method if you have the time to wait for the ATT Prepaid SIM.

Where I live , you can't call, surf, or text with Sprint cause it's so bad. If they offered this plan and paid me $50 a month, I would still pass. Sprint is for people who use WIC at the grocery store

Are people still reporting this will end on 9/13? I just bought a pixel 2 on Verizon today and it is telling me that I can't pay it off until 9/27. What can I do to get on free Sprint for a year?
