So a brand new boost Moto g6 play can be swapped onto the Sprint 1 year free plan? I am on the plan now but dropped my phone and broke it. Thanks.
Yes. You'll have to do it by phone or chat and not mention it is a Boost phone or a pre-paid phone.

Agree, Sep 13 is just another rumor or should i say fake news..? Youtube video is not officially released by sprint. Who know where it came from and who photoshoped... Plan can go down tonight or can last another year.
Huh? The video that was released three weeks ago that says the offer is ending September 13th was released by Sprint and is on their official YouTube page. Sprint never released a video with an end date before so it's more likely this will be it.

Likely not. The Sprint account will have to be in her name. She cannot legally enter into a binding legal contract. You could try, but if they find out she's not at least 18, they can cancel your service.

I do not see why not, but it has nothing to do with switching sim cards. You are thinking other carriers practice.

Sprint does everything by IMEI. not by sim card. And sim cards are not necessarily interchangeable between phone models.

So what you want to do is take phone one's number and phone 2's IMEI and activate that pair on Sprint.

Then later do an IMEI swap with the other phone when you get it.

Do not swap any sim cards - it accomplishes nothing. Just activate all phones with an appropriate sim card for that model. Actinations are directly by IMEI but this is not a problem because you can swap IMEI's directly.

It should not affect phone 2's service with Verizon.
thanks, just follow up. so if i do it that way and activate with my phone TWO, then i can use sprint service with the sprint sim in, and instantly with verizon when swap with verizon sim inside?

Yes, people have been able to that.

I think there might be some minor issues with iPhones where Apple is trying to track where the phone is.

Successfully ported in my third line today following the wiki. Thank you to everyone who contributed!

I asked the csr when the deal would end, he said he didn't know. He Recommended me to fill in the survey if I liked the service, then the deal could be extended for longer. Not sure if that really helps or he was just trying to get better reviews.

Also, if you are porting a number out (for example to T mobile) then back to Sprint to get the deal:

The T mobile account should be under your own name and birthday - i'm not sure why T mobile asked for birthday
The new sprint account needs to be under someone else's ssn, as the wiki said. When porting into Sprint, Sprint will ask for the T mobile account holder's name; tell them the correct one

How do you port into H2O without adding any plan or balance ? Also how long can you keep it that way ?
Quote from hodaddy :
Don't do it. Seems like they now require $10. Read the wiki. Use GV, Tmo or numberbarn.
The question from ranibane0309 was how to "port into H2O".

I can understand why H2O requires $10 before giving "port out" information.

Does H2O really charge for "porting in" now?

I had ported out of Sprint to H2O just to get my Sprint lines cancelled as I read that's quicker than the run-arounds you'd get from Sprint (if they cancel correctly at all). There was no charge but that has been almost a year ago.

What makes you say it was not posted by Sprint. As far as I can see it was:

It list Sprint with a check mark as the verified poster.
I was recently watching a video that appeared to be by Sprint with "Paul" doing the voice over. The video said that it was posted by Topher Hilberg.
