New deal is up!

Streaming in DVD-quality
Global Roaming in over 185 worldwide destinations
Unlimited data, talk and text nationwide

Save until 11/30/19.
A standard $2.50 admin fee, $0.40 regulatory fee and other taxes and fees apply

Your $30 activation fee is waived as part of this promotion. The fee will appear on your first bill and a credit will appear within 2 bills.
And of course their choice of a new end of savings date of 11/30/19 (one year and two and a half months out) suggests that they are considering (though not obliged) to keep the offer open for at least a good part of two and a half months.

So right this instant is the safest time you will get for anyone who who has the plan now and wants another year. They can port out right now and sign up 45 days later under the same SSN around the end of October.

Of course, if you can have a spouse or family member open a new account under their SSN to share with you, that is even better, as you you do not have to wait the 45 days - you can do it immediately.

They specifically state 5 lines can be ported in when reading the terms. They also don't have to be all ported in at the same time, but the date the first phone is ported in on account will be end date for all phones.

Side note, instead of imei number can I use the MEID?

Need to ask Apple to make sure you have one fully compatible with Sprints network. Some of the previous iterations used intel chipsets that didn't have all of sprints LTE bands.

But yes, after 120 days you can swap out phones freely (up to 4 times I believe)

I thought you just couldn't upgrade for 120 days but you can swap devices anytime if it's a paid off device

From the wiki and sprints website on the byod:

What happens if I lose or break my own phone and don't have replacement insurance?

If the phone you bring to Sprint through the Unlimited - Bring Your Phone promotion is lost or breaks, you have options that allow you to keep your first year of free service:
** You can purchase a Sprint phone at full manufacturer's retail price, or
** Swap out a different eligible phone although a new Sprint SIM may be required

Pretty sure you can swap device, you might need to call cs since the website doesnt work from time to time but I have swapped multiple devices during my 2 months during my first year of BYOD.

You could be correct and I could be wrong. They stated on the phone that you couldn't swap until after 120 days, but they could have told me wrong. I don't take a phone reps responses as stone. Even though I asked specifically if I bought out a unlocked or sprint phone at full price before the 120 days.

Would make more sense to allow a swap due to breaking. Might be exceptions though at that point

PS thanks for those that answered a few questions. Boost phone activated perfectly. Daughter will be happy to get a new phone and I'm happy I spent less than $100 on it
