Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I was on the BYOD plan last year until I switched to Verizon for the last 6 months. Would I be able to switch back and get the byod free again for a year?

big question:

How do you guys like Sprint's service after switching for this deal???
That's the most important question. Best thing to do is to go try to speak to people who have Sprint or boost or virgin or Tello in your area. Sprint is realistically fourth of the four carriers. In my case however, I get better coverage on Sprint than AT&T or T-Mobile.
If I did not get decent coverage I would run away
The dude, as they say... Does not abide man

After I port my sprint number to T-Mobile Digits sim, how long do I have to wait to port the number back to sprint ( under a different account)?

Plan to buy an iPhone XS from Apple store. But I can only get a Verizon iPhone. I don't plan to activate it with Verizon. Is the phone automatically unlocked? Can I activate it with sprint without activating it with Verizon first?

Thanks
If you paid full price at apple store. The phone is factory unlocked. But make sure to check if the band is compatible with your carrier.

It expedite the porting process because you don't have to argue and get hanged up and start over again. Haha.
Yes that was point I tried to make, I guess I failed.

Try some of these.
1-Reset Subscriber Settings (Carrier Reset)
Go to dial pad as though you're about to dial a phone number
Enter # # 25327 #
Tap Call
A "Reset Subscriber Settings" message will appear - tap OK
Wait 5-10 seconds; the signal notification will display "Searching" on the top left of the screen
When the phone shows a signal again, the phone is ready to use

2-Service Update (Profile & PRL Update)
Connect to a Wi-Fi network
Tap the phone app
Dial # # 873283 #
Tap Call
"Starting Service Update" message will appear - tap OK
If update is successful "Service Update Complete" message will appear after about a minute - tap OK

3-Check for an old LTE APN profile and delete it.
The problem was due to a Profile named "LTE APN". (Settings>General>Profiles - Right below "VPN". There may not be "Profile" on the Menu, depending on the carrier used before.). Deleted this Profile, then LTE Data signal showed up! This Profile was probably from the previous carrier.

Hi guys,

I currently have a spare iPhone SE in hand, so I was wondering what would be my best option to sign up for the free 1-year? Would it just be to sign up for Google Voice and port that number out? Also, would I need to get a SIM card for this deal (i.e. idk if Google Voice even gives one)? The iPhone is technically from Straight Talk, but I used an RSIM12 to unlock it for use on T-Mobile (idk if its eligible)

Thanks in advance

(Sorry, the Wiki is so long I don't even know what I should be looking for)

That's great. Iphone xs max is too expensive this year so I didn't pay attention to it. Thanks

The 3-1 kit does not include the 516TQ. Not sure when they will have a byod kit with 516TQ. Also many people are having problems activating on Sprint. Hopefully they are working to get straightened out. Check reddit
SIM cards. The iPhone Xs/max will use SIMOLW516TQ, SIMGLW416TQ, or SIMOLW416TQ.
Since these sim card part numbers are new(have not been used in other sprint phones) availability may be limited.
Also the Xs has embedded sim(e-sim) but is not supported yet.

When is the new extension end date for this deal?

My free year ended in August, I was using a Moto E4.
I ported my number out of Sprint to MINT MOBILE yesterday.
Do I also need to formally terminate the Sprint account (so as both to not get billed and start the 45 day clock running to port back in after 45 days) or do anything else to prepare things so I can port back and get the deal again after 45 days?

After the 45 day wait period is up I can port back into Sprint with the same Moto E4 and the same Sprint sim card I used on my first free year? Or do I need to swap devices?

I have to say year of paying $4.65/mth with the free data and hot spot was a smoking deal!
