Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Any phone (under $150) suggestions on eBay that will work with BYOD offer.
Boost Mobile Moto E5 Play is $80 at Wal-Mart. The Moto G6 Play which has a bigger screen and fingerprint is $120. Just tell them you don't want to activate the phones in the store bc they are a gift.

Boost Moto G6 Play is $80 online only at boostmobile.com (with promo code FALL2018).
E5 Play should be under $50.

I just ported 2 lines to T-Mobile, waited about 2 hours, then back to sprint under a different account. No issues.
Nice! Thanks for confirming. I'll probably do the same thing as the initial account was under my name and I'll set up the new one under my wife's name./SSN.

i see people buying 4-1 sim kits in store ... what's the reasoning for this? just save the $2.99 sim fee?

here's my situation: 2 unlocked iphones ready to switch, 1 iphone xs arriving in a day or two. I can order the SIM cards now if i use the 2 real IMEI numbers, and a random iPhone 6 IMEI I generated through a website. Should I do this or will the third SIM they send not work with my XS when it arrives?

I was thinking of that but then I saw people posting about their phones ordered from boostmobile could not be activated for Sprit BYOD offer.

Don't worry, it works. I just bought the Moto G6 Play from Boost online last week on sale for $80, and activated it on the free BYOD plan. You just have to tell them the MEID and ICCID number and they will add it to their system. Just say it's a Motorola, don't say Boost. Btw the Moto G6 Play is the best "bang for your buck" phone I've ever experienced for $80, it's an amazing value.

That way or the other way around?

If you read https://slickdeals.net/f/10235008-sprint-byod-1-year-unlimited-talk-text-data-free-w-eligible-device-sim-req?p=120164127#post120164127 carefully, it says it was the phone bought at Walmart that gave the problem.

Was not able to activate the G6 play from boostmobile.com either online or by calling account services. Account Services said they are getting an error Item is incompatible with the brand. Online device swap says item has not been paid off too boost yet.

But I doubt it matters where you get the phone. Some reps will just turn it down. People need to be willing to try several times.

hey I tried that by calling account services and they only asked for IMEI and I just gave them my MEID(HEX) and they said they couldnt activate it since it says "Item is incompatible with the brand" in the system.

The Moto G6 Play from boostmobile.com cant be activated on BYOD plan not with Ting or Tello. Looks like the loophole has been patched up.

You should not be calling Account Services. That department deals with account cancellations. Probably you mean mean tech support.

It works, you just have to be persistent. Call only the main Free Year BYOD number 866-782-8777. Do not call any other numbers, especially Boost. It's best not to turn on your new Moto G6 Play until after your phone has been added to Sprint's postpaid BYOD system. You might lock the phone to Boost if you set it up prematurely before the phone call. The csr may tell you the phone is not in their system initially, but just tell them it's a Motorola and that they need to add it to their system. Tell them both the MEID (HEX) and (DEC) and ICCID. Eventually they will add it to their system. Sometimes you get a csr that is not experienced, just ask them to ask a supervisor how it's done. I just did this so it works.

Is there anyway to pay a little bit more to be able to stream HD? Being limited to 480p streaming kind of sucks. I like to stream NFL and MLB games while away from home and I would gladly pay extra to be able to stream in 1080p or even 720p. However, I'm hearing that with some spring plans there's not even an option to be able to add that on?
