Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

People say you have to mess with the last digit. Keep adding it back if it deletes it. Regardless, it is eligible. You cannot activate online anyway when you provide the sim. Just call the number ending in 8777 to sign up.
Can you clarify with the "messing with the last digit part" ? Do I change the last digit to a random number till it accepts it ? Then call the number and provide the "modified" IMEI to the phone rep?

Yes you are correct. We're you not aware that Sprint made some models with chips that were incompatible with Sprint and Verizon?
I'm assuming you meant to say that Apple made some models with chips that were incompatible with Sprint/Verizon. If that's the case, I was indeed ignorant of it.

We were thinking of picking up a 6s instead. It looks like both model numbers would work for this, does that sound right? (assuming they're unlocked)

A1633 - "It is intended for many carriers in the United States (and was sold optionally locked to AT&T), but it also was offered unlocked, contract free, and without a bundled nano-SIM for use on practically any carrier (T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint, for example), starting October 8, 2015."

A1688
- "intended for Sprint and Verizon as well as sold with a T-Mobile nano-SIM in the United States and a wide variety of carriers in Canada, Europe, Asia, and elsewhere worldwide."

For those who using xs/max, just come over apple store and get a free sim card. They have it plenty in stock. Then, using chat to swap your device or call sprint to add a new line.

Nah don't bother - just call TeleSales and let them worry about it. We already know if is eligible. You do not need to check that. I think it is too late for tonight though. No need to mess with placating the checker. Just sign up directly by phone. Chat does not support this offer nor does Support. Only the number ending in 8777. They will handle all such issues.

You need sim ending in 416TQ or 516TQ. The 516TQ is available in the new sprint 4 in 1 BYOD kit.
Got my package from Twigby; one 416C for iPhone 7 and two 426Q that I've just found out won't work with iPhone Xs. Sprint rep was telling me last year they are moving towards universal SIM... ha.

Where can I get some 416TQ or 516TQ like by Saturday? Thanks

Edog11 is the expert on these model numbers but yes, you are correct, 6s is the easy way and does not have this issue that the iPhone 6 has.

It's obvious that you don't read much of this thread. Annoyed Once again, S has a new 4 in 1 sim kit available at S corporate stores. Try a local store, if they won't sell you one then ask where is the nearest corporate/repair center store.

No contract -- you can leave anytime

Just port your number out and it'll cancel the service

I'm going to give this a shot and take my paid off iPhone X from Verizon to Sprint. Can someone confirm that if I want to leave Sprint after trying it out that I won't have any trouble taking the phone back to Verizon (or another carrier). I read some reports that Sprint locks the phone once you bring it under their service. Has anyone had this happen?

I did but the previous mentioned 4-in-1 kit was stated as Boost Mobile's new 4-in-1 kit that's not available at all Best Buy. Thanks, I'll try the Sprint corporate store near me.

It turns out a family member's iPhone SE (AT&T prepaid) is incompatible even though it's unlocked.
Hmm, all(from any original carrier) unlocked 6s and SE should work on Sprint. It was the 7's that had issues.

EDIT
phones from Boost are difficult b/c few, if any, of them stayed on Boost a full 12 months. So they never qualify to remain Unlocked even if they were somehow used on a non-Boost carrier for years.
