Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Hi, I wanted to know if there is any work around. I had this deal only on my phone number since last December. Now, when I am trying to bring my wife's phone using my social, they are saying she'll be able to use the free service for only another 2-3 months. My wife doesn't have social, so, wanted to know if there is any way tp get this offer for my wife using my social.
Thank you
Any line you add gets the original exp date -- you can still add her line to your account and use the free service for a few months

If she can't sign up for new service under her name and there's no one else you know that can sign up for new service then you'll have to leave Sprint for 45 days -- after 45 days you can come back as a new customer under your SSN w/ new exp date

No one knows how long free service will continue so no guarantees that it'll still be available in 45 days

If she has an ITIN that may work.

Boost Moto G6 Play is $80 online only at boostmobile.com (with promo code FALL2018).
E5 Play should be under $50.
If you buy directly from Boost they will either require activation or the phone will be locked to Boost mobile and is not eligible for this Sprint BYOD promo. Buyer beware!

Thanks for posting the link. We ported in 2 lines on BYOD back in June. Is it easier to get a Boost Mobile phone (Moto E5 Play or G6 Play) swapped in on an active line than porting in with all the red tape?

"Your $30 activation fee is waived as part of this promotion. The fee will appear on your first bill and a credit will appear within 2 bills."

You can wait and see if the fee is credited on the next 2 bills or contact/chat with CS and see if they'll give credit right now
exactly the reason I came here for too. Saw the bill this morning and was like "wtf?"
I couldn't really view the details yet, the page gives me an error message. I'm also chatting with them online now about it. Thanks to JaTaN, now I hope I can view my bill soon and make sure that it is the $30 activation fee included. My bill is $38.79 now.
Also, For VenkatT5743, shouldn't the $5 auto-pay discount be applied to your bill too?or have to wait for that too?

NOT accurate. Many have bought Motorola phones from Boost and successfully add/activate to this exact plan.

My BYOD plan expires in a couple of weeks and my current BYOD phone is dead since yesterday.

Any good phones from Sprint that I can buy until my BYOD expires? I will have to use this phone when I port out of sprint to another carrier.

The only reasonable phone I found at sprint store, is pre-owned galaxy s8 for $288 full purchase (didn't want to go with flex-lease and commit for 18 months).

Is this worth, assuming I need to use it once I port out when BYOD expires? I am hoping this phone is unlocked (or will be unlocked) when I port out of the sprint.

Any inputs, appreciated.

Yes. As long as you have/get the correct Sprint SIM very, very quickly.

I can also add that I used the eligibility checker and input the IMEI of a never-activated Boost Moto G6 Play and a Verizon cell number and the checker said the phone and number were eligible. The only thing I haven't tried in the checker is a formerly activated Boost Moto G6 Play with an eligible phone number.
Did you buy the Boost Mobile Moto G6 Play directly from Boost or from Walmart? TIA

Make sure to buy a dual sim phone that works with GSM (AT&T/Tmobile) as well as CDMA/LTE (Verizon/Sprint) and is truly network unlocked (usually called an international phone). Even at that you'd want to check the bands of coverage the phone includes to make sure it will work with the next network you want to go to.

thanks....just got my answer from Republic, they will give a prorated refund, I thought they would charge for the full month if I don't cancel by the first

from Republic FAQ

"Yes, you will receive a pro-rated refund for your base plan charges. The refunded amount will be calculated from the date your service line cancels after porting your number to the last date of your paid bill cycle period."

but no refund on used portion of data charge
