Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Currently I have a line with the Sprint free plan using a virgin mobile iPhone 5s. Recently I got an ATT iPhone 6s (no active service) and just got it unlocked by ATT. I would like to use the ATT iPhone 6s for the Sprint free plan line instead of the virgin mobile iPhone 5s... how can that be done?

I saw that the wiki said to call the 'account service' for 'swap' device. Is that what my situation is... 'swap'? If so, what would I expect when I call the account service? Also, do I need to do anything to my 2 phones before calling the 'account service'? Can 'swap' be done online? Thanks.
You can swap via chat. Swap just replace phone. It won't change your BYOD plan.

You need auto pay & eBill (paperless statement) to make the service free -- make sure you're signed up for both

You can order service online www.sprint.com/1yearfree (you have to pay for $3 SIM + $10 shipping and wait for it to come) -- only then you can finish port/activation online using www.sprint.com/activatenow

You also have a chance at $100 cash back -- I used BeFru online cash back portal and now I'll have to wait and see if they actually pay out in 3 months

If you have your own SIM card or the website gives you problem with credit check and/or ordering then you have to call the 8777 number in the wiki to sign up

So the wiki says that you can reuse an old Sprint SIM. However, some posters here say that you should order a new SIM associated with this promotion or you will run into trouble. Could someone clarify?

FYI: I have my (Sprint) iphone 7plus SIM that came with the phone. I'll be porting out for 3 months to another carrier and coming back after 45 days.
wiki is correct generally ..
but some special case. ie., the previous SIM card got blacklisted , so you cannot re-use it, you need acquire a new one

Call this number (888) 206-3585‬

Tell them to do a dummy sim swap.
Just called in again, the rep did refresh on her side while the phone is turned off, it worked. voice and data, WiFi calling all working. I also asked her to remove the protection, she said she removed. I have top verify online though.

Thanks all for the help.

i would double check this answer.

an ip 6s from att is probably eligible as a port in "vehicle".
not entirely sure if it can be swapped with a phone on an existing S line

do report back, in either case, your finding

Thank you for the reply. I'm really not sure what is a port in "vehicle" and how to proceed. Does the fact that it's an 'att' phone make it complicated?

Could you please suggest some steps? E.g. Should I check anything on the att phone? Do I do something with the sim cards for the 2 phones? Do I call (whom) or do I chat, or can I do this online? Thank you so much.

Bought a Boost Moto e5 Play from Boost online. Shows up as "you owe money on the device" when I did device check on Sprint site. Any recent success stories with Boost phones?

Also, what happens if I activate service with an IPhone 6 that was originally Verizon but is unlocked and is on AT&T Now? Does the phone get locked to Sprint? Can I take the Sprint SIM out of the phone, put AT&T SIM back in and would it work on T again? What if I activate first on this iPhone, then try to switch to the Boost Moto?

TIA.

Hard to read thru huge thread. If I go get the Boost Sim pack at Best Buy, I can just call and activate the sim? Says my device is eligible. Tx

How to get this VNO flag flipped? I have one Virgin Iphone 6 which is showing not eligible for this plan.
It does not apply to phones that were on Virgin. For them, call Virgin.

Of course the phone has to be off Virgin before you can even test it.

If your phone is compatible with one of the 3 SIM cards in that kit then yes -- check the Ting SIM card link in the wiki to see what SIM part number your phone needs

No -- you're fine as long as its currently not on a Sprint based network

If its on Sprint right now then port to a TMo/ATT/VZ carrier for a few hrs -- you can port back to Sprint after that
